I was thirteen and in the eighth grade in October 1978 when this movie was first aired. It scared the bejeezus out of me. :D I have it on DVD but it's good to have a streaming option too. Thanks for the upload!
I swear I remember this showing on either the ABC Friday Night or ABC Sunday Night movie in the early/mid-80s; even though it had been around for years by then. I remember Purcell in particular.
I'd forgotten over so many years how exciting this unfolds thriller style as events occur one upon another...whew! It was fun to see Fran (who yrs later became "The Nanny") young & smooth faced. This is definitely a keeper in best witch stories genres. Kind of movie you want to watch again someday.
Color me surprised when Carolynn appeared on the screen and I realized it was Fran Drescher! What a pleasant surprise, so crazy to see her this young. She’d barely aged a day by the time she starred on The Nanny!
Me too and this is even better from retro VHS version, this dvd cover is sucked but VHS version is awesome, many dvd cover sucked and VHS version is awesome art
Cult movie, this movie keep hook, witch movies, i should buy this retro VHS version back yet, i had this retro VHS version once but i own it's dvd version, could be masterpiece from Wes Craven
Not scary or suspenseful. Feels like an abc after school special or goosebumps episode. Exciting last 10 minutes but that's about it. Linda Blair is cute throughout.
That reveal! Wonderful movie! It’s slow start really makes the action hit all the harder

This was a pretty good TV movie. I always enjoyed watching Linda Blair movies, just wholesome family entertainment.

WWOWZA, hadn't seen this since I was a kid!! TY!!
Thank you so much for uploading this!
I didn't think I would like this at first bc I'm not very big on witchcraft but this was amazing. 😍
I'm so glad I'm from the old days. Music and movies have sucked for the last 25-30 years
All we get now is remakes, sequels and cgi superhero nonsense

Stranger in our house is the real tittle of this film!

This movie is so terrible.
