They used to make trends others followed. Here they are chasing trends set by modern rock at the time. Sad. Imagine if they tried to sound like Motly Crue and Metallica instead of themselves in the 80s?
Um no. The tribal sound was Steven’s drums. And Navarro was the one dripping the songs with saturated trippiness. Don’t get me wrong. I have nothing against Eric. He came up with some really solid lines. And Deconstruction is one of my most favorite albums. But Eric kinda gives himself more credit than what really went down.
Tom Reynolds they have different musical tastes now. And their albums post 91’ breakup are hardly sucky. I like them. Avery has put out some duds of his own.
The world needs Jane's Addiction. Don't Stop.
Brilliant footage todd!!!!
Magic
What was Perry about to say at 3:51 when Dave cut him off?!
I can't wait to see them at Deluna!!
At 3:35 that guitar sounds amazing! as far as I know it's not part of the Great Escape Artist. Please put that into a new song please!!!!!
@MrChambonable
The video had a different title when I watched it and they spelled South America wrong, they spelled "South Anerica" lol
What do you get when you put the members of Jane's Addiction in an enclosed room?

Cash in Perry on Eric's music. 12 1/2%.

This band has not been even close to the same without Eric Avery. They lost all of their tribal mysticism & psychedelia.
Then how do you explain their massive suckiness post-Avery?
Tom Reynolds they have different musical tastes now. And their albums post 91’ breakup are hardly sucky. I like them.
Avery has put out some duds of his own.
