My comment is simple. Some bands get better with age. This is a fine example. I am nearly 50 years old. This is the top played song in my iPod. For those who don't like it, you know little about music. The structure of this song is complicated. Whoever wrote it is a genius.

Yeah, their bass has always been underrated, but with Navarro on guitar, it is hard to steal the spotlight. I saw Jane's once and the whole place was a tiki party theme. Flea was filling in. But he did a professional cover, dressed in a red tunic or robe of sorts. Jane's bassist, who's name escapes me at the moment, keeps the whole thing together powerfully and allows for guitar to be wherever it basically could ever wanna go. No restrictions or requisite rhythm guitar chords are really needed. So very good.
The Great Escape Artist was produced perfectly. It doesn't sound like the old JA. These guys are adults. This is a deep, compelling, well-written album. It also rocks. What more do you want?
I had given up music for a bit...everything sounds the same so I needed a break. I'm also a dancer with no floor so it made it harder for me. I have listened to janes addiction for some time but only bought one album. I heard this on a documentary and it kick started something in me...... thank you so much!! I have been missing me all this time and now my dancer block is gone!!!
