Foals just played Mountain at My Gates & What Went Down on Jools so I fancied digging back a bit. I'd forgotten this is what they used to sound like. Don't get me wrong, I still like it for what it is, but it's very of it's time. (As I suppose the heavier rock sound is very fashionable again right now, but that's a classic sound that just keeps returning.)
This band seem to attract negative comments by prejudiced morons on youtube.Who cares? The fact is the tune is unique,pacey,melodic and excellently performed with passion.And on that basis they deserve to be watched thereafter.
