DuBose jumped and caught the ball then lost his balance and stumbled forward. #21 for Houston never even lowered his head, in fact DuBose's head collided with #21's sternum, jacking his neck,and the crown of his helmet actually grazing his face mask. DuBose got hurt because it was a "hospital pass" and collided as the lower man. It was not a dirty hit by the Texans defender.

Throwing receivers into coverage relying on the fact that with the rules defenses can’t light them up. NFL is to blame for this and Tua throwing the ball into a spot where his receiver can get hit. Ball should have been at least low for a sliding grab.

If Tua doesn't throw that pass, or throws it with a bit more urgency/accuracy, this injury does not happen. That's not to say Tua acted maliciously at all, and I'm sure he feels absolutely terrible, but part of why this happened is due to Tua leading him directly into the hit with his throw.
