Thanks for watching the video. Have you ever had to beat the cutoffs? Here is a video to help you avoid mistakes in your race.

Thank you so much for this video.
I signed up for a 70.3 in june (in 16 weeks) and just realized the max race time was 7:30 after I registered . And it has a hilly bike course....I am a slow runner..., getting better on the bike but lets say that with my speed it would be a tight time to finish...(if I manage.) I am checking to transfer another race with a rolling bike course and 8:30 max time in september...I am very sad...feeling a bit demotivated.....will I be a bit faster in 16 weeks? I don't mind being the last .but I wanted to finish.....😢 I did 46km today in 4 hours..but not enough hills...could have been better...

Don't get discourages. You can make the cutoffs if you tain to make the cutoffs. Don't just "ride or run the distance" droning away junk miles. Build speed on the bike by doing hard intervals. Get out of your comfort zone and you will see amazing results. Mimic hills by doing "big gear" intervals where you pilot the bike in the hardest gear you can and push hard for a minute or two...into a headwind is even better. Let me know hiw it goes.
