I glad on same page before you voiced l was thinking needs to be part of the seasons festivities the kneeling sisters be a nice addition to the 🎄 . Are you going to reconstruct the mug to see how much complete you may get. Be fun to see when you go back find another broken shard fun & interesting as always .As read in comments do any one hit the 👍button before watch Keep it Rocking 🤙😷😇🤗🌃🦅🇺🇸🙏🏞🌎🇬🇧🦁👑
You have so many nice places to explore and fossick through. Most are picturesque and really interesting to see, even If only on our little iPad/computer screens. And your home seems so cosy and inviting as compared to the rainy day outside. You two ladies are a wealth of knowledge concerning all the bits n bobs you find. And very inventive with the crafts that you use to make objet d’art. Always a pleasure to go along on your jaunts with you and watch you crafting too. Keep doing what you do and sharing it with all of us who would love to do what you do! ❤️🦘
Your little silver buttons are fabulous, many quilting and sewing folk live all bits sewing. I myself have a pin that has tiny spools and buttons and tiny scissors ✂️ hanging from it. Its huge hit... just a thought for your beautiful talents. Keep the energy alive. God bless you and your family.
Have you ever had a friend that has such a grating voice, that you can’t be around them more than ten minutes at a time? I’m saying that to say this, both of your voices are so soft and sweet that it’s a joy to watch your videos and listen to your little giggles and coos. Keep finding your treasures, we love your enthusiasm.
So happy to have found your channel. What a lovely relationship you have with your mum. Spending wonderful times together. Treasure it. And never loose your fantastic enthusiasm. Its wonderful and addictive. Thank you and take care 🦚
You two bring so much simple joy into the world!!! Thank you so much for all the hard work you are doing to give us something to look forward to each week!
"I wouldn't try to speak French if I were you, Alex!" Hilarious!!! So much stuff at that dump! I wouldn't ever want to leave. Have been looking forward to your video all week long!
I was near the Scottish border the other day fixing an oil boiler for a customer... the rain was relentless - presuming it was the same day! Thanks Alex and Gail, your videos keep me and my partner entertained and eager to go mudlarking... when it's not so wet. We have so many projects in the pipeline thanks to you two. Maybe even a wedding ring... MAYBE!
I just love the music that you use, and the way you show the scenery of the area that you both are at , I watch your videos almost everyday, to say that I watch them more that once is an understatement. I just can’t wait for more treasures hunts.
You always manage to find the most beautiful glass bottle stoppers :) Wonder how many people regret nowadays threwing out their pretty empty glass perfume bottles during the years of plenty, never giving it a second thought that some day soon they would be a saught after novelty - we never appreciate something untill it's too late.
I recently found your channel and you have no idea how much it has helped me get through some really rough days. I've been dealing with covid, separated from family, and I love having your videos on. I get excited right along with you both with each treasure you find, I love seeing the scenery as you guys go along in your travels, and I adore all the trinkets you make with your spoils. Mudlarking in Scotland is on the top of my bucket list now! Can't wait until your shop opens back up!
My late sister gifted me a beautiful suncatcher for my window before she died. I have it in my front window and every time I look at it I think of her and remember her creativity.
i recognized the parianware right away! they're made with powdered marble and a binder and slush-cast into a myriad of shapes. often they're copies of solid marble sculptures made to be affordable and make your house look fancier for your guests. a very pretty find. :)
Ah ladies, another fine trip to wonderland with you. It is so grand to see all the goodies you found, and it is always wonderful to hear of all of your idea's of how you are going to use them. Plus the nifty histories about your curious finds. It always makes me smile to hear your hilarious chatter, and Alex I say, "Let them eat cake, I mean biscuits!" ...ha ha ha... I hope many funky things find their way to your tree, and you will share it all with us. What fun, what jolly good fun you have, spreading the joy and laughter!
@@NorthernMudlarks It is a mouth guard. You would find teeth marks because those of us who wear them are biting down and it keeps us from grinding our teeth
@@constancebraun2251 I'm afraid you can see where the teeth have been fitted to the dentures. They are also moulded to the shape of ones gums, not teeth. They simply would not fit over teeth. Along with the nicotine staining we are absolutely certain these are dentures.
When you panned the camera at how vast that dump site is, I have an even greater respect for you being able to see anything at all but especially those tiny beads. So glad you got to be out in the day time and didn't have to drive all night to get home. Another great video with interesting finds!
Thank you for another classic,I'm addicted to watching these calming videos. They are very therapeutic, as well as fascinating info. Thank you for showing and sharing your adventures.❤️
I love the sponge ware bowl! Alex, you were so cute calling it cake instead of biscuit 😂😂❤️❤️💗💗 I love watching your videos and hearing your research on your treasures ❤️❤️💗💕😘
I always watch you girls before I go to bed, love the scenery, and the beach. The sea glass that you two find, and what you two make out of it, just beautiful jewelry
A mixture of Fun, Odd (considering Alex bucket lister), surprising and really pretty finds. Lots of neat ornament supplies. Looking forward to all your videos. Bless Your Hearts! : )
Especially pleased to see the ceramic egg and find out its use, I found one, well half of one, and had no idea what it was. Very lovely video anyway, facinating selection of finds. 💚
The pipe bowl with the flattened side is known as a "sitter", and it's used exactly as you pointed out. Imagine sitting at a table playing cards. You light your pipe, but now it's your turn to deal. You just stand the flat side of your lighted pipe on the table, deal the cards, and return to puffing! Lovely stuff, thanks.
When I'm down I can come to your spot and get a lift I love watching you hunt and peck though the dump to find little things to make beautiful jewelry thank you God bless.
I think itd be a great idea to salvage all the broken figurines you find and put them in a specific section of your garden if they are not too fragile! a broken figure graveyard sort of decor!!
Love your pipe finds...the lens was wonderful. I love the pottery shards because the designs scream out for pendant jewelry. I used to have to clean my Mum's crystal hanging pendants. I didnt mind because they made prism patterns on the walls when I was little. I thought they were fairy magic...lol. Childhood was full of imaginative moments. Thank you both for so very interesting items and anecdotes. I love the figurines and faces too! Please make a crafty video making stuff...you are both so artistic and talented.
Hi! I'm from Spain. I love antiques too, it takes me back to that time. I would like you to paint on the ceramic cups the pipe drawings you made on the moulds, it would look good. I would also like you to make a mosaic with the pieces of porcelain. I would love to be there and be able to grab things too! ♡
Oh this was really fun. The pipe with the flat side, my Great Uncle had one like that with a long is stem and it rested on the flat side. Alex, you can cast the false teeth then fit hot glass into it. On that shepardess figurine, you might be able to remove the lamb and lion for pendants and the pot for a mushroom. Alex, I thing the tiled mosaic floor would be great, just pick up all kinds of tiles and arrange them around where they fit. Sounds like fun. Your idea for the other ornaments sound great. Ladies thank you again for the fun and adventure. ♥♥♥
So many lovely finds! Oh please make something with the praying girls(so I can buy it lol)! I can see them as a candle holder with a small place to put a candle behind them, just a small candle would be so nice! Thank you for the wonderful video as always, Merry Christmas! 🎄🕊

Finding that bowl whole with just a chip was a goldmine! I would have been jumping up and down yelling, "woohoo!"

That headless man figurine would look great with string of pearls flowing out and a cocktail umbrella in his hand.
My late sister gifted me a beautiful suncatcher for my window before she died. I have it in my front window and every time I look at it I think of her and remember her creativity.
Your adventures are getting more and more interesting all the time 😊❤️
Total relaxation when I watch these videos. Brilliant.
Does anyone else think that the Napoleon head woman would go nicely on on the headless Parian figure with the lamb?
I just love glass bottle stoppers, especially the green heart stopper :)
I love the sponge ware bowl. A treasure amongst the shards of history. Thank you , as always, for a great video and ”visit “ with you.🥰

I think that’s a mouth-guard rather than dentures. I use one because I grind my teeth in my sleep! Some wonderful finds. I love the tiny bottles 🙂🙂
A mouth-guard is what I was thinking also.
Yep I think so too
They are dentures, it has been moulded to the shape of gums and you can see where the faint imprints of teeth xx

I want to see Alex doing some more silver casting. It is very interesting.
The Victorians knew how to make beautiful things. The vase dangler thing is so pretty.
Pleeeeease put in your shops the great beads you made from the old bottles.
