With the rise in restomods from Singer, Tuthill, Autofarm & everyone in between - is it time I added a fully restored & modded classic Porsche 911T to my garage? To view full details & bid on this exact car hit Paddlup: auctions.paddlup.com/lot-details/index/catalog/36/lot/35/Porsche-911T-Oshe-Zero5
Fab video Tom! Thanks for coming by again, and glad you enjoyed the Oshe! Interesting to hear about the cost of restoration of your own Porsche, in comparison to this stunning example that's had a full nut and bolt restoration all ready for the next lucky owner!
IMHO, more people need to take the advice given in this video to heart. I know so many fellow enthusiasts that want to get into early 911's but either don't have the budget or simply don't want to spend what it takes to get into a good example. We all have dreams of restoring a car but very few of us are actually capable or willing to go through that painful journey. Not to mention, the cost of restoring a tired example usually ends up being the same as a good example in the end + 50% additional. As a fellow aircooled 911 owner, my recommendation is always to buy the best car you can afford. Leave the nut and bolt restoration project for the 3rd or 4th car.
The look on your face mate when the truck pulls off and you're able to go is exactly how I feel every time I get in my 1969 with a Euro 3.2L swap and find the gas pedal. What a life.
Lovely. Workshop Seventy7 seem to do some good stuff. There's such a sense of engagement in these older cars, without having to do crazy speeds to have fun. I upgraded from a 991.2 GTS to a 964, which I'm totally in love with, and I'm in the process of gradually modifying bits and pieces to my taste, without going the full restomod route.
Gorgeous! Makes me miss the 912, I just love an Irish green porkie. Would be good to do one of your old school garage updates where you visit all your cars. Appreciate it’s a bit more difficult now you have nearer 30 cars than 3.
Dope video! Probably a 915 transmission instead of a 901, which is something people would do to accommodate the power of the engine. Curious if you notice any difference from just driving in general since this is a long wheelbase car where your 912 is a swb?
Bit by bit TGE turns into Jerry Seinfeld. The Porsche is a really great car.. The Testarossa is also cool. For me it must be a white one with one mirror. Than it would be perfect.
I kind of hate paddlup just for what they’ve done to that F40. Not always sure all publicly is good publicly when it comes to ruining things of beauty.
As you asked ?, my feedback would be a “no”. It would have to be a late 80’s Supersport Targa or 964 Turbo. (Not necessarily an S). And I probably wouldn’t buy both.
Well it won’t be at auction on Paddlup I don’t think! Should be a good deal auctions.paddlup.com/lot-details/index/catalog/36/lot/35/Porsche-911T-Oshe-Zero5
I love the look of classics but driving them is a different story . You buy one thinking wow it’s in great condition until you take it to a specialist as you know ☹️🤦🏻♂️

No way it runs K-Jetronic same as old XR3i and Golf GTi
Wallop. What do you think?
Love it! A truly incredible car!
That place looks like it’s in the middle of no where 😜
Nice vid - will give Paddle Up a follow. Resto mod Porsche is the sweet spot for me these days. Best of all worlds. 👌🏼
Yes! Top guys there and some spicy offerings soon 👀👀👀

2 years, 10’s of £thousands & not even remotely finished or to the same standard even if it was 😂
This car is beautiful I love the colour! The interior is insane, it’s a truly incredible car. Definitely love a good tge video!
Glorious
Thank you.
That Testarossa looks epic. Can’t believe you’ve got one!
That looks absolutely awesome, would be a perfect fit for your collection
You’re right about the LFA, Tom. Awesome car but you made the right choice with the CGT! Would look epic sat together in your garage though!
Gorgeous color. No need for focal speakers. Just listen to that glorious engine!
Great car and nice watch. Nice video Tom.

Thank you bud.
Thanks for checking it out. Really comes alive when it’s thrashed a bit too.
Beautiful looking car, a real gem. This would fit nicely in your 911 collection :-)
Is a very cool car! Great video!!!
Great vid , love that Patek and I’m looking forward to the Omega No time to die review vid you said you might do
Weeber carbs & jetchronic fuel injection you say, if it had Moomins dampers you'd have the full set.
No jectronic in fact. We replaced it with triple 40IDA’s.
Yes! Another classic Porsche!
She a stunner there’s going to be very lucky new keeper👍🏻
That’s a really nice car would make a great addition to your collection 😃
Car is a stunner and as you said relatively good value for such a classic car. Watch also 👌👌 great video
Great Porsche sounds good , it's a keeper Tom !
Super nice watch. I think my favourite of yours actually. I've started a collection, in a different league, but just got a G-Shock and a retro Casio.
What a stunning work of art!

Absolutely beautiful!
You're becoming the British Jerry Seinfeld. Top marks in brand selection and spec👌🏾
It’s not his car🤦🏻♂️
But TGE does normally have good taste (apart from what he did to the SLS😜)
@@jamiegoddard1899 Regardless of that fact. He basically already has acquired quite a few brilliant Porsche models🙄 Emphasis on "becoming"

chaos! lovely understated watch too sir!
Always something new and different to see at TGE TV, lovely👍
That PP is chaos Tom. When did you sneak that beauty in ??!
Few weeks ago! Weeeeee
Nice Tom
Go for it mate …. Why not 👍👍👍👍
How much did it end up going for in the end - last bid i saw was £100k
Dope video! Probably a 915 transmission instead of a 901, which is something people would do to accommodate the power of the engine. Curious if you notice any difference from just driving in general since this is a long wheelbase car where your 912 is a swb?
Been so long since I’ve driven my 912 - no idea 😂
That 911 is sublime. 👌 although driving it looks a bit like my experience of driving an early defender. I.e. a nightmare.
No nightmares with this. In fact it drivers better than it looks.
Rev counter not moving Tom?
Bloody good spot mate. It’s temperamental as the upgraded Permatune ignition blew it up a bit. New one waiting to be fitted.
Very good spot! Think it played up before I came. Is being sorted before goes to new owner
Was trying to see revs you needed for that noise and thought hang on. Saddo!! Lovely piece of kit. Why not the central twin peashooter pipes?
Bit by bit TGE turns into Jerry Seinfeld. The Porsche is a really great car.. The Testarossa is also cool. For me it must be a white one with one mirror. Than it would be perfect.
5524g 🔥🔥🔥
Not even started the video, going off the thumbnail... get it bought son. That will do.
4:21 Sorry but there is: Countach LP5000 QV
Fantastic.
Old 911’s not your thing? My last video features the cheapest LAMBO in the UK: th-cam.com/video/_PQ8QP2CyGY/w-d-xo.html
Speaking of classics. What’s happened to to the Alfa SZ? I’ve only just remembered you had one.
I didn’t win the bid in the end! One day!
I always thought they were Weber carburetors not Weeber!
Who cares
Absolutely mega, I’d take this over any other car for £150k
Its beautiful 😍 ❤ 💕 ♥
That Patek is cash Tom
Tom ,I really c that u big into Porsches atm?Can't say I fault that!Agreed Tom,lfa is ace,but com on, Gt?Not in the same league!🤔💪💪💪👊👊👊🌶
Is that pista piloti for sale?
I believe so. Hit up @paddlup on Instagram & send a message.
Hello message ☝️☝️☝️I bought from him
Check his name at the top of the comment
He’s legit I vouch for him”
Get a Singer Porsche. Done.
Literally 10 x the price of this.
7:13 it's actually pronounced like the word locale but with an F rather than an L up front...fō-kăl...
Ooooops
and Weber rather than weeeeber carbs!
I kind of hate paddlup just for what they’ve done to that F40. Not always sure all publicly is good publicly when it comes to ruining things of beauty.
What a lovely 🍆 Yes , as a fellow classic Porsche owner , resto is eye watering . Nice video Tom 👍🏻
This is so, so nice. And love the colour, looks superb in it 🍆
Left the factory in aubergine too. Although we tweaked this shade a tad on this car.
You pronounced Porsche correctly just once in this video. At least something :)
"We'ber" lmao, its Weber , said like mark webber ;)
As you asked ?, my feedback would be a “no”. It would have to be a late 80’s Supersport Targa or 964 Turbo. (Not necessarily an S). And I probably wouldn’t buy both.
🤘😎🤘
911 Vimto
cheapo strap on a patek lol, looks ok though
£7.99. Keeping it real
Beautiful looking car, nice colour... but £140k for a left hooker with no sun visors or side mirrors...Nahhhh.
Well it won’t be at auction on Paddlup I don’t think! Should be a good deal auctions.paddlup.com/lot-details/index/catalog/36/lot/35/Porsche-911T-Oshe-Zero5
We didn’t add the standard single wing mirror as we thought we’d leave that option (design and number) for the new owner.
I love the look of classics but driving them is a different story . You buy one thinking wow it’s in great condition until you take it to a specialist as you know ☹️🤦🏻♂️
Luckily, this one is superb.
