Hey Drongo, just wanted to say you were a great caster at the Red Bull Legacy Tournament. Loved to watch it! And YES. show us team games
EGCTV handled it perfectly, the punishment was sufficient and now he is on probation and eventually will make it back to good standing. I am glad to see Bee back because I love his style... he reminds me a lot of one of the most entertaining players from AoE2 (Vivi / Fat Dragon... love that guy too) for the same reason with the hyper aggression, shit show messy games.... these are so much fun to watch.
Bee has served his time and has proven that he can play at a competitive level without cheating so I think it's a good decision to allow him to participate in future events. Also as he already has the set up to record himself playing, I don't see it as an odd request for EGCTV to ask Bee to send the footage to them. Hopefully we can put this drama behind us now :)
I'm a big believer of letting people serve their bans and then letting them back into competitive play. Whether it was earned or not, Bee served his time and it sounds like he's a great player mechanically. Hope we see him in some videos!

@@yoloesad76 he admitted to exploiting the palisade wall placement to scout, so he's guilty of that at the very least. We also have to trust that the organisers of wololo had sufficient evidence to ban him. They wouldn't want to ban one of their most exciting players for no reason. I believe they must have had enough internal evidence considering his suspicious gameplay (staring at black fog of war, conveniently knowing all deer spawns, knowing enemy dock placements without LOS, playing different build orders on ladder compared to tournaments) but unfortunately we won't get to see Microsoft's internal proof. He has cheated previously in his career so it's not surprising he was found guilty of doing it in AOE 4. Regardless, I think he's a great player and I'm looking forward to seeing him in upcoming tournaments!

Team games would be great to watch. And I think Bee has both served his punishment, and acted as a warning to others to play within the rules. Time for everyone to just move on
I would love team games, 1v1s can get a little dull. It's interesting that serral is an emergency team member of the team 2 and a half men (beasty, demuslim and Marinelord)
A team game tournament is coming so expect plenty of team games. Beasty already said that he's focusing on team games to practice for the tourney

Watching casted team games will have more action, and give a lot of insight into what pro players do with them.
If I could say what percentage of videos, I would say I would love to see
5% Nomad FFAs,
45% normal team games,
and 50% 1v1.

As requested in the video on team games: yeah I'd love to see some team games. We [friends and I] play them [team games] a lot and there sure is an unique dynamic to those kind of games. Would love to see higher level of play and commentary on those :)

The Vizier point is louder than the rest of the game, but it's not louder than your voice
Bee took the Imam Vizier point 1st, it actually looked like it could have potentially gave really good value if he could've kept them alive. I think if he went the berry landmark and had more army earlier with the imam healing he could have won
great to see 3DBee being part of the aoe4 competitive scene going forward
Consequences seem fair to me. It's enough of a slap to discourage future cheating (whether by Bee or by somebody else), but still allows for a second chance. Also exercises some caution. Pretty good considering that he has recently demonstrated the skill needed to compete at a high level (not so much in this game though). Not that any of this really concerns me.
Also would like to see some team games. I've heard of a Malian cow sling into MAA spam. I wonder what other strategies we'd see that simply aren't possible in 1v1s.

This all situation is so weird. Orgs ban Bee without proofs, ask others players to help them, then (after 1 huge LAN) unban him, just "because". So, now players like beastykt will play with someone, who (by their opinion) cheater?
Happy for Bee, but can't find respect for such movements to orgs and players (who should not make videos with claims without 100% proofs).
They had evidence, stop spreading bullshit.

Meh, think it is fine, the requirement for the next 12 months prevents further cheating, and there is no doubt he was a top player, cheating or not. And the evidence was a bit murky (he wasn't very good at cheating if he was cheating).

Once a cheater always a cheater. Cheating at this level should enact a permanent ban. He was essentially robbing others of their potential livelihood. It's only because he was caught that it didn't happen. This is coming from a fan before he got caught.
Bee served his time and the disqualification from the tournament was punishment enough without publicity showing the evidence of hacking nothing more should be done if all that happened was a rule of the tournament broken
I am all for reformative justice, so I hope he is allowed to complete again, however I’m also not for excusing cheating, especially when it hurts other people, so I will be rooting against him.

This doesn't sound like a reversal, more like probation. Bee is being required to provide extra evidence during his games to ensure he is keeping his nose clean....I feel that's a reasonable play here. He did a crime, he received a punishment, and now he's on probation.
I really don't wanna bring something stupid up ... but I always thought it was 50 (or less) percent dubious activities by BEE and 50 (or more) percent political situation right now given that he is russian? (nation non grata atm)
He didn't admit to map hacking. But he admitted to using exploits which were banned in an interview with Fitzbro. They can't mathematically prove map hacking, although you can provide circumstantial evidence that shows he likely was. In any event, let's see how he does while recording himself. If he's at the same level (which was top two or three in the world), then maybe he was just using game exploits (e.g., drawing fences in the fog of war to see if your opponent has a dock).
Stop spreading BS. He did not admit to use exploit there. He said that he tried to wall and find a dock by an accident.
Happy to hear the release of Bee. Hopefully he will play well and be able to compete again at tier 1 layer...
However, to be honest based on this match performance, his reaction , map control, resources management clearly is not the same level of marinelord or beastqt......it increases my doubt on his play before. he beat marinelord 3-0 once time...
Bee and Beasty play all the time. If you watch their streams, Beasty wins 90% of the time regardless of civ or map. "Drama" or "Beef" never comes up from them.
might be a unpopular opinion but if he was cheating then imo he should be banned forever, there shouldn't be any leniency it for at all. but since its alleged and not 100% verified i can understand them allowing him to play now

Why are they so vague about the evidence they have that suggested cheating? why not just show footage and proof of their accusation, unless there is none.
They knew that they made stupid decision because of other pro pressure, but when beasty violate rules on semifinals, they realize thats enough of clownfiesta.

He broke the rules for an unfair advantage.

Your comment is misguided. There are hundreds of thousands of dollars at stake at this level. These are legit professionals, they have fans, just like football, or any other paid professional competition.
You can gamble on it. It’s not just man children in bedrooms, bud. It’s essentially a professional ‘sport’.
While I don’t care about this particular issue because I’m not invested in the game, people need to remember that just because something doesn’t matter to THEM personally, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t matter to others.

Cheating Saga? Drongo, I knew you liked to bait, but please stop misinforming people. Nowhere in the official accusations is there the word "cheating". A mysterious rule was given so that the organizers could save face. I am glad that the witch hunt is over, but for those who have begun to baselessly pour mud on a person, I wish you to feel the same for yourself sometime. No regrets
He was accused and banned because of cheating so saying it was a cheating scandal is fine. He may have or have not been using literal hacking cheats, but he definitely broke the rules i.e cheating.
Innocent until proven guilty eh? He is sketchy af just like he always was in the past on SC as well, many pro players claimed that he is very sketchy, and it was even hinted by his significantly worse performance at LAN events.
Only reason why he isnt banned is that there is no 100% way as of now to prove that he is cheating, and they cant ban someone whose sentence is based on assumption or theory.
So ithe accusations are nowhere near "baseless" its based on tons of hints and leads.
Watch the video and talk about it after. Breaking rules is equal to cheating, it doesn't need to involve hacks or third party softwares to be called cheating. No mysterious rules, a rule in the tournament book.
