    Another area with great homes to look at. It looks like every house comes with a boat.

    Nice to watch your trip and enjoy some water views while we are in this lock down. I am a corporate pilot and my boss has a home in Florida just south of Boynton Beach. We spend a lot of time in Palm Beach and was thrilled when I got to see you pass by two restaurants I really enjoy going to when we are there. Two George's and The Banana Boat just by the "princess" drawbridge as Rev put it.

    Flocked up beyond all recognition - another Military shirt, love it. Enjoyed the houses, boats, and bridge discussion too

    Good Morning Gang, sitting outside, still in Foley Al. Our marina is closed now as are a lot of Michigan marinas. Stay safe y’all..

      Yes it seems we were able to get below a bunch of them in the 20 to. 21 foot range. We worked hard to get the boat down to 17' 2" if we need it. If I disassemble the radar I can get to 16' 3". Thanks for watching. Sam

    West Palm/Jupiter Island pretty ritzy. A lot of golfers, including Tiger live on Jupiter. Worth Ave is the Rodeo drive of Florida if not East coast. In Palm Beach. Kennedy's and other famous families have houses there

    That large yacht you pointed out was not a Nordhavn. That was "Hercules". She is a RARE vessel. She is a Molokai Strait 75. There were only a couple or three of those built back in 2008. The company went under because of the market crash. A shame because they are really well built. Check out the video on TH-cam under Molokai Strait

      Thanks so much! It had a Nordhavn type build, but didn't seem quite right. I will check it out. Cheers Sam

    Another great video Rev and nice planning Captain!! If you had to pick between Navionics and Garmin which would you choose? With Navionics do you have to purchase for each device or can you move from phone to tablet on same account? Looking forward to the next one. Calm water wishes to you guys.

    • @WhatYachtToDo
      @WhatYachtToDo  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Byron, If I could only do one, it would be Navionics. One purchase and I can use on both phones and an iPad and they synch great. I can also build routes on the PC, but the App features don't work on the PC. But the routes built on the PC show up on the Apps on the phone and iPad. The only glitch I have found is that routes built on the iPad have a point limit and terminate the route at a certain point. It bit me once, but now I don't build routes on the iPad. On the other hand, I TOTALLY do NOT TRUST Active Captain's Auto Guidance function on my plotter. It is down right dangerous, and I have emailed and called Garmin on that twice. So, they get by legally with the disclaimer, but that is not the kind of quality I was used to in the Garmin Aviation field. But I do export Navionics routes to a GPX file and then import into my Garmin XSV 7610 plotter and that works nicely.
