Cartoon Network - Small World - Bumper Compilation (1996 - 2001, High Quality)

Long before Cartoonito, there was Small World. A block that practically consisted of preschool animations around the world running from 1996 until 2001 in the USA. The block reached Latin America with some shorts removed (some of them aired in other networks instead), it lasted from 1997 until 2006, being the most longest running blocks of the network along with The Acme Hour.

Fun Fact: In Latin America, Cartoon Network stayed with "Small World" for the longest time, from 1997 to 2006, being broadcast for 8 years on the channel's morning schedule.

Actually, Small World premiered in LA in 1996, along with its original US broadcast, back when CN LA/Brazil still used the American satellite feed, only with its bumpers, promos and shows with the Spanish or Portuguese dubs.

Once again, it's so beautiful watching these Small World bumpers again, now with the highest quality as possible. And I never get tired by hearing this adorable music over and over, it makes me remember so much the days when I was a little kid and watched the block every early morning during my childhood.
Here in Brazil (where I live), along with Latin America, the block not only aired the same content as the American version (with shows like Pingu, Spider, Old Bear Stories and The Babaloos), but they also aired some other shows, like Fly Tales, Hello Kity's Paradise, The Bored Witch (The Triplets' spin-off), Untalkative Bunny, Kipper, Percy the Park Keeper, Kangaroo Creek Gang, Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat, Angelina Ballerina (the 2001 version), Preston Pig, The Bellflower Bunnies, Yoko Jakamoko Toto, Ted Sieger's Wildlife, Towser, Barney the Dog and even Monica's Gang. And believe it or not, I actually remember watching Peppa Pig (yes, that Peppa...) as soon as it premiered on the block, before it got transferred on Boomerang's Mini TV block in 2006. Also, the block aired here between 1996 (along with its US broadcast) and 2006.

Out of all of the preschool blocks cartoon network came up with
This one is my favorite because of its theme of international preschool shows with gems like miffy, mr. Men, pingu etc
Tickle u has some good shows but i do agree that its not a strong preschool block
And cartoonito wasted its own potential, rather than trying to stand out from other preschool blocks at the time, it was only made so preschool versions of stuff like craig of the creek, batman, and bugs bunny can exist
That said there are some good shows such as pocoyo, and i need to look into lucas the spider
