- Gili Lankanfushi Maldives 2023 | 馬爾地夫綺麗蘭坎福希度假村 | Full Resort Tour 4K 60fps
We visited five resorts in Maldives in March 2023, including Gili Lankanfushi, Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru, Waldorf Astoria, St. Regis Maldives and Kudadoo Private Island. All of them are excellent resorts! Gili Lankanfushi is accessible via a short 20-minute boat from Male International Airport. It is a tiny coral island in a crystal blue lagoon, With just 45 overwater villas, Each villa is designed with the utmost attention to detail, and built to be environmentally friendly. We stayed at the Residences with Pool, This spacious villa is elegant and cozy. Outside the villa it has spacious sundeck area and infinity pool with ocean view, It is perfect for the vacation! We celebrated our 20th Anniversary at the Gili and enjoyed every moment! The food was wonderful with half board, Breakfast was a treat every day with a wild selections and dinner were delicious, We had dinner at Indian Tandoori night, Japanese Teppanyaki, Asian Street Market and Brazilian BBQ night. The Gili exceeded our expectations, it was a beautiful and relaxing paradise and the staff shared to the excellent experience.Thanks all to make out journey so lovely

Gili Lankanfushi opened in 2000, is a classic resort in the Maldives, Gili is like the graceful ageless queen of Maldives, a perfect place for the vacation, Hope you get there one day 😊

For the resorts closer to Male like Gili Lankanfushi and Waldorf, was there any noticeable increase in noise during your stay? I read that staying closer to Male may cause you to hear more airplanes going to and from the airport.

Yes! we can see seaplanes fly over the resort, But It should be more than 1 km away from us, IMHO, There will be some noise, but it won't bother us 😊

Now you have me adding another resort to my Maldives list 😂😂. Beautiful resort. Loved the diverse buffet. Two questions: was the sand fine enough to walk on without shoes, and do guests have to go shoeless their entire stay there? It looked like I saw a lady with sandals on, but I couldn’t tell if she was a guest or staff member.
Gili Lankanfushi is a tiny coral nature island (Not like One&Only and Waldorf are largely man-made), The beach sands at Gili should fine enough to walk on without shoes, Of course you can wear shoes on the island entire stay 😊😊😊
Walk a mile into the island and walk another mile or 2 out to the villa in the ocean!! 😂😂
An outstanding narrative of this beautiful tiny island over water resort/hotel. The music although relaxing and great for background needs to change it becomes exasperating when it is the same tempo throughout the entire video. Is there a continental menu for dinners for those of us that do not like spicy or salty foods? Are there any aquatic sports like kayaking, jetski, parasailing. Are the pools in the villas salt water? Must one be barefoot all the time. I find that so bizarre not to be able to wear flip flops or sandals. How expensive are the villas? Is there room service 24/7?

Gili Lankanfushi offer the windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, catamaran sailing, or paddle-boarding, they can also arrange wakeboarding, water skiing, tubing, and private speed boat adventures. We are not a travel agent or part of the travel industry. You can check the room rates and availability on the Gili Lankanfushi website for reference. You can even find the direct exclusive offers on their official website. Of course you can wear shoes on the island entire stay 😊😊😊

Both One&Only Maldives and Gili Lankanfushi are excellent resorts, I would recommend One&Only if you like the Beach Villa, One&Only have the more beautiful beaches than Gili Lankanfushi. Gili is a coral island with natural environment and crystal blue lagoon, Gili is less expensive and have good value for money. It is accessible via a short 20-minute boat from Male Airport. I would also recommend Gili Lankanfushi If One&Only is too much for the budget. The foods was delicious and services are good at both One&Only and Gili 😊
Love your videos. Wonder how easy or difficult was it to visit several resorts in a trip. Did you have to return to Male each time? If so, waiting time reasonable? Look forward to your Kadahoo video next 😀
Kudadoo will be done after Gili Lankanfushi 😊 We like to capture the most beautiful moments at the resorts. We chose to go back to hulhumale hotel for one night. Normally, We can arrive at the resort in the morning and check out in the afternoon. We can have more time to shoot the video at the resort :)

My priority 1. Villas (Waldorf, Landaa, Gili, Kudadoo, St. Regis) 2. House reef (Landaa, Gili, Waldorf, St. Regis ) 3. Beach scenery (Landaa, Gili, Waldorf) 4. Food ( All resorts are fine, Kudadoo is the best) 5. Value for money ( Gili Lankanfushi ), But that's just my personal opinion 😊

Just found your channel, also just came from the Maldives and absolutely loved it so I'm wondering what's the best resort in your opinion? You seem to have visited alot of them which would say is your absolute favorite?
We have stayed at 14 resorts in the Maldives, including Waldorf Astoria, Gili Lankanfushi, St. Regis, Kudadoo , One&Only, Joali, The Nautilus, Vakkaru, Velaa Private Island, Cheval Blanc Randheli, Soneva Jani, Kandolhu and both Four Seasons Resorts. All of them are excellent resorts! The Nautilus, Velaa, Cheval Blanc, Waldorf and Joali are the luxury place with the most beautifully designed villas, Both Nautilus and Velaa have the best service for us in the Maldives, Kandolhu is the best place for snorkelling, One&Only and Four Seasons Landaa have the best beautiful beaches. Soneva Jani and Gili Lankanfushi are the eco-friendly resort with natural environment and stunning lagoon. The best All-Inclusive experience for us at Kudadoo. All of them are amazing and worth a visit 😊
@CL Kung i just came from the Waldorf Astoria and I had a absolutely amazing time, and now like you I'm hooked. I'm wondering between Soneva Jani or Gili Lankanfushi for my next trip? I've heard people didn't like Soneva Jani as much but what do you think? Comparing it to Waldorf
I would recommend Soneva Jani If there is enough budget. Soneva Jani is an eco-friendly resort with natural environment and crystal blue lagoon, But the room rate is expensive during high season. Gili is less expensive and have good value for money. It is accessible via a short 20-minute boat from Male Airport. It is a tiny coral island in a crystal blue lagoon with beautiful shades of blue water. I would also recommend Gili Lankanfushi If other resorts are too much for the budget 😊
Are there uninterrupted views out to see from the villas, without the islands?
The villa opens up to panoramic ocean and lagoon views :)

When is the best month to visit maldives with fine weather?
February and March should be the best months to visit the Maldives. The dry season (From mid-Jan to mid-April), you can expect low rainfall, and enjoy lots of sunshine in the Maldives 🌴😊

Gili 與 Sooneva Jani 都很棒，如果預算沒問題會先推薦Jani，但通常旺季Jani的費用將近Gili的2倍，如果覺得Jani太貴Gili也是個很好的選擇
