Went to Big Bob's today after watching your video last night. You were spot on with your review for the most part. I went with the pork chops, fried okra and mac-n-cheese. All good except I could eat the mac-n-cheese with a straw. Looked nothing like your. Just a soupy mess with what looked like a slab of American cheese melted on top in the microwave.
I got there about 20 mins before closing so maybe it was a rush job. There were 5 or 6 people in the parking lot waiting for their food.
Pork chops and okra were on point. Biggest issue for me was the appearance of the place. Cleanliness is definitely not a priority for Big Bob's place. He need to invest in a big broom, big mop and some big no pest strips.
I cut the place some slack as it was near closing time.
Btw when I got my food I told Bob I came because I saw your video. Showed it to him on my phone. He laughed and said that guy is cool. Said I remember he was here at 7am and we wasn't open yet because he had no staff. Employees were late. Lol
My husband loves this place. I personally would have never eaten here because of the aesthetics of the place. BUT it was the best American style food we have had in soooo long. I will agree with Mr. ChimeTime some of the fried food can be a little salty for my personal taste but not unbearable. And I don't know who thinks the prices are high because living in the Triangle you can't feed two people under $40 at the average restaurant. I would consider this better than your average restaurant because of the huge portions. One plate is at least two servings if not more. This is a must try and worth the drive if you are local. Thanks for the review and I will subscribe and check out additional content. Side Note: The way you swallowed that piece of fish in whole!!! I couldn't stop laughing!! LOL

Big Bob's City Grill, the food is really delicious, and for those who like Southern Cooked Chitterlings, they serve 2 days, a week Only on Fridays and Saturdays.. you can eat from one plate of food at least for 2 days, if you like. I'm giving the food, a score of 10.. !!! ❤️💯👁️👁️🌹🌷

I love this place. My parents and I meet here because it’s halfway between my place in Cary and theirs in Greensboro. Their fried chicken is amazing, and their pork chops. Gosh now I’m hungry 😩😩😩 I didn’t know anyone else knew about this place 😅 I love your reviews💚
Had to go to Raleigh and on the way back me and my wife stopped at this place and ordered everything you ordered and you were right it was good as hell didn't do the coleslaw but every thing was like you showed it and worth we haven't touched the porkchop plate yet we smashed the fish plate in the parking lot i told the guy we came just off your video. We need a place like this in Greensboro!!!

It's fruit punch with Kool aid mixed, I think. And if eat in, you can get free drink refill. The drink and cake or pies are priced separately !! They draw more customers with your suggestions. But the place is thriving , down home southern locals, best not to go near closing. The chitterlings are usually sold out quickly.. Good Food, Shrimp Po Boy is good also..!!!! 💯😀🎯👀

Great reviews on the food in the restaurants. This burger looks so juicy and so big thick and good I would love it but hold back the seasoning. I like my burger season to a medium taste not over seasoned

It's not difficult to make your own coleslaw especially in big batches. It makes or breaks a great meal of bbq or fried fish

I refrigerate and heat and eat the very next day. Or cool down place in freezer , eat later within the same week.. it's worth it, I know !!

The food looks good, but with that bad customer service (opening whenever), that's where they'll lose me, because I'm thinking what other areas are u slacking in? If they open on time and not lose customers, they'll have the money to update the menu boards, etc.
