I may be wrong, but I installed the lower push in hex nut from the engine side. I think it is supposed to expand as you tighten it up.

Mid frame air deflectors are a must....especially on those hot days.

Yeah, you are going to want to be sure to protect the oem rubber grommets. HD wants $25.97 for 4 of them. $25.97 for 20 cents worth of rubber washers. Love the bikes, hate the company.

Great video. I'm right with ya on the power and overall styling of these new Roadglides. So far on mine I did a 9" Freedom Shields, Khromewerks slipons, SE extreme circle air cleaner with SE tuner, fat baggers ez clutch adjuster, Rockford stg2 audio , Nav and then the thrashin skidplate( check it out, so much piece of mind). Waiting on my Bad Boyz Cycles seat to arrive tomorrow or early next week. Rolling the bars slightly forward and more inline with the forks did wonders. Love mine, 1200 miles so far and yes, test ride one and you are hooked.

My speed sensor shorted and burned up my O.E speedometer I have had a horrible time finding a 67272-95 for my 1995 FXDWG Found one that somewhat works is way out of calibration. put an inline fuse on the red after that burn job. Would really like to upgrade to the plug in type. Seems to be many for 96 up. But not the 95 configuration.

What year Road King? Does your bike show tire pressure? ABS? TPMS?

I appreciate the CVO models because it gets the Bill Gates and Arab sheiks of the world something to buy. Dolling up a standard RG or ST to look like a CVO is fine but you’d lack the VVT engine. Kinda surprised Harley hasn’t made a “CVO line”, basically it’s a CVO but with the standard 117 engine and maybe standard shocks.

Ever since Harley went woke I will not be buying a Harley Davidson and just to make it clear. I do own a Harley Davidson, but I didn’t buy it. It was a gift from my father, so I’ll never get rid of it, but I’ll never buy one. Go woke go broke.

With my past Harley’s I added options every year at usually $750-$1000 a pop so after 5-7 years it added up but got free storage every year from my dealer. My last bike is an Ultra CVO and I ended up with every option available (including some you can’t just buy and add). In the past 5+ years unfortunately the “custom” paint schemes have been crap. I think I got the last decent paint. But Harley designs and paint have really gone downhill in general and they’ve lost touch with their customers unfortunately. My “Harley Davidson“, which is how most Harley customers think of the company, doesn’t exist anymore. Sad😢

I went from a 81 Tour Glide to a 21 Road Glide Limited and was shocked at the price of the thousand mile service. After paying over 30K for a new bike the thousand mile service should be included in the purchase price.

Well said. This cancel culture crap is ridiculous. It happens on both sides of the fence. I ride my Harley because it helps me bridge a connection to my Dad. It brings many good memories. I like your take on the service as well. One major reason I will not buy another new bike. I can do all the work myself and save money and know it’s done right.
