You would think people can learn what’s good crystal and what’s not after I explain it but people are hard headed. I show them pressed crystal cut crystal and wavy crystal as well. It’s easy for us to spot but hard for others. I show them that sometimes polish crystal can be sold a lot cheaper than Waterford yet can be better quality, open your eyes

People you need to take notes in a notebook that is what they are for, that way you do not have to ask over and over and over again. She does video to teach you and if you forget then go back and watch the videos it is not that hard.

I am glad you said NOT to 'ping' glasses. It is an English superstition that every time a glass is 'pinged', a British sailor dies. Someone did it at a family party and next day my, uncle late for his ship, fell between the dock and the ship. I do not need to say more, but we cringe every time someone 'pings 'a glass. It is merely superstition but we Brits love our sailors ! On a more cheerful note I have collected several sets of American glasses. I have come to appreciate some of the lovely glass that USED to be made in America. I will look through your past videos to see if you say anything about American glassware. I am sorry you have to repeat yourself. Maybe, I don't know, are these new people to the channel? I work for the Goodwill and I have tried to help teach what I know from a reseller and watching you. Everyone takes a different perspective each time I help. Peoples personalities and some mental health and comprehension play a part in all of this. If we teach this is a common thing. I am not an expert but I have been dealing with so many people on so many different levels for years now. I have days when I feel like no one has listened but teaching involves patience not saying its not hard! You are loved and everyone that watches you wants to learn. Some do well and some struggle. Some are good researching the information on your website and some not. You give so much information some find it hard to process. You are great at what you do! Remember everyone is different and that is what this great world go round. I want to thank you for all I have learned form you. In my eyes this is not a good way to handle this. Love your videos. The way I learned about pearls. I crushed one and looked under a microscope. You could see the layers and layers of pearl nacre. Then I crushed a fake pearl and it looked like tiny crumbs of sand. I heard china was faking pearls using sand. 😊

I love the rants and how they can be relatable to everyone in their own way! Also, Dr. Lori explains in EVERY single video how to get more information and where to find it, so the new people watching her videos can easily answer many of their own questions by following her directions to her website or TH-cam. Expecting her to answer all the questions she’s already answered over and over again seems a little selfish. She’s already took taken the time and energy to give you the answer for free, but you can’t bother to spend a minute or two to find the article or video? 😐

Would you consider publishing your newsletter in paper form. When I go to the newsletter on your website I am sent to another place to access and at 80 years of age I do not know how to access it. Instead of repeating yourself just refer to chapter and verse of paperback(spiral newsletter). I would be happy to pay for all past and present paper newsletters.

Your a great teacher, unfortunately some of your listeners don't know how to listen. Please keep doing what you are doing. You are amazing! Thank you so very much.

Dr Lori, I have learned so much from you. … and want to learn more. I can’t get enough of you. But I don’t learn anything from your “rants & raves”. In fact, I worry that anyone just coming on your channel seeing these videos, would be under the WRONG impression that you are condescending - which you are not in your other videos. I find myself stress eating or biting my nails listening to this style of video. You are so brilliant. I am always amazed at how many different things you know so much about. Please, Dr Lori, give us more informative content and show the world the best you have to offer. Said with love & respect from a huge fan.
PS the people who need you to repeat yourself, probably have not watched all of your videos the way we die-hard fans have. But then, you’re smart enough to know that. 💕

I love the rants and how they can be relatable to everyone in their own way! Also, Dr. Lori explains in EVERY single video how to get more information and where to find it, so the new people watching her videos can easily answer many of their own questions by following her directions to her website or TH-cam. Expecting her to answer all the questions she’s already answered over and over again seems a little selfish. She’s already took taken the time and energy to give you the answer for free, but you can’t bother to spend a minute or two to find the article or video? 😐

Aluminum and food should never be used together. If I said it once I’ve said it a thousand times! 🤬 calm down. So many people are not in sales, and think that just because great Aunt Ginny lugged it around it must be worth a fortune. Life is too short to rant. If you hate people don’t do it.I think you have great talent 😊 however, I can totally relate to repetitive questions, I raised teenagers. Keep up the wonderful knowledge you share.

Would you consider publishing your newsletter in paper form. When I go to the newsletter on your website I am sent to another place to access and at 80 years of age I do not know how to access it. Instead of repeating yourself just refer to chapter and verse of paperback(spiral newsletter). I would be happy to pay for all past and present paper newsletters.

I listened, but I didn’t hear you explain how to determine if pearls are genuine. I’m one of those people who usually rubs them against my teeth to determine if pearls are genuine. I’d appreciate knowing a different way to make that determination.
