Seeing her band's reaction, all I can think of is that as a musician, it must have been a dream come true for them to work with a singer such as Mori. I mean, musical instruments involve a lot of technicalities, and to be able to translate that into vocals - my, how fortunate they must feel. Y'all get me? Lol
Because Lea has a broadway background. She can put multiple emotions to the song. If you listen carefully, Mori's version has a happy tone which is good but Lea's version has happiness plus excitement like she's really discovering a whole new world.
I think she gave the song justice and her own take of the song. Lea’s background is different from Mori although Mori did camp rock but not as extensive as LS plus you cant compare an experienced broadway star to a girl half her age, I think Mori was like 22 or 23. Shes practically a newbie compared to LS. Mori didnt really get formal training like LS but for MA to be able to sing any genres and slaying them like pro, that tells a lot about how talented she is, imagine if she had formal training.
Yep... sometimes her voice sounded strained... I hope she'll be alright and be able to maintain her beautiful vocals and at the same time her health..❤
