Great video mate, Yeah highly recommend some polarised sunglasses, Only get 1 set of eyes, it’s worth protecting them mate .. It sounds like we actually used the same training school, It’s called Transport training academy, Great place very helpful. All those road were the same that i had on my test, Some right tight turns .. At 8:25 (and 17:41 coming from the opposite way) turning right down that road you just come up is where i bloody failed when i clipped the kurb, really interesting to see how you approached each of the corners. You’re bloody good at reversing mate, You make it look effortless. Take care mate have a lovely weekend with the fam. Apparently storm Ashley is on the way this weekend
Thanks mate, I’ll have a look at the sun glasses when get a chance, I thought it may have been the route you used when on your test too. There are some tight turns on that route. Have a good weekend mate
At 35:45, as your mentioning about the increase in accidents, your on lane 1, a red car and a white Jeep both going slowly on lane 3, a grey car passes you on lane 2 the moves onto lane 1, a white van comes flying past you on lane 2 nearly pushing the grey car out of his way, then the white Jeep decides they're in the wrong lane, them in the white Jeep were going too slow in lane 2 given how much space there was in front of you way before the junction, the white van was going too fast for the situation and undertaking, beggars belief the road manners
The standards are really low these days, instead of helping each other out of junctions etc everyone’s in a rush to get no where and just push past each other
Eyyy saw the nemesis in the background at the end. Is that still on long distance work or just days now? Great vlog as always and have a great weekend bud.
@@Life_of_Darren it's not been that over worked though has it still good for many of long distance journeys and tramping. My dad's not happy at his place all the night drivers are getting kicked out of 18 plate volvos and into the 17 plate ones haha. Yeah just a quiet one the misses is at home this weekend shopping tomorrow and then who knows.
Is a lorry test the same as cars where if you pass your test in an auto , you can only drive autos and if you pass in a manual, you can drive both, what was your test in, and can you drive a manual lorry
No you can drive either for the trucks, I passed in a manual for class 2 but the class one was automatic and tbf 98% class one trucks are automatic too

Darren get yourself a pair of polarised sunglasses from Boots, it really helps with the glare especially if the roads are wet with low sun.
That’s Pete I’ll have a look when next in
It also stops the reflective glare off the windscreen, when you wear your hi-vis.👍🏻
