Nice intro there buddy! You are seriously rocking it, you put in 10000x more effort than I do into this shit heheh.. Keep on the grind man, you will be on top soon!
Boost Therapy I’m still learning how to edit and all that fun stuff. Just want each video to be a bit better than the previous one. I’m using iMovie to do everything. And I’ve owned a fd Rx7 and obviously a r32 GTR, the fd always had something wrong with it (could have just had a nightmare car) and I absolutely love my R32. There both amazing cars but bnr32 all the way.
im hoping soon to start seriously looking for an r32 gts-t, right now im just trying to do as much research as i can and i was hoping if you would know any common issues they have and any key areas that i should look out for wether it be engine/drive train related. any information helps. great video and very informative, thanks
@@friend_built are there any key areas to check for rust unnderneath on the chassis/frame? as you said there prone to rusting on the quater panels but what about frame wise? and what did you mean by the rb20 not being the greatest, are they any major issues that they have? thanks for the response
Well I’ve herd a lot of bad things about montu. In fact there is some new drama going down on the American skyline owners club today about them. I got mine from IVI. I personally wouldn’t buy from montu due to there reputation.
I looked em up and the prices are waaaay high compared to a few others. Shitty thing is we have to spend thousands of extra $$ in California because of CARB(emissions bullshit). I'd still probably end up registering it in another state but the few GTR's they're selling are all 30k+, seems a little high right now compared to some other company's.
You mentioned the window seals being very expensive. Mine is having that exact problem right now. Would you recommend a website where I could get the parts from?
@@friend_built sweet. Still got the ceramics on it? If so, change them first! One desintegrated on mine last year and it ruined the complete engine. And i mean everything. Only thing i could still use was the cilinderblock itself after a bore. I was running about 400 as well when it went.
I made 350 at 12psi I’ll update the twins when I do my ID1050x injectors. I wanna keep it twin turbo and as stock looking as possible with still making good power
@@friend_built i'm now wrapping up the rebuild as well, started it up for the first time today.. Also kept it twins, put the biggest BB garrets on that would fit lol. Shooting for 750/800 now on 100 octane.
The mileage on many of these cars was 100,000 km's over 20 years ago. It's funny all these years later they still have only 100,000km's on them. Lots of cars are wound back.
I definitely disagree. They more than live up to the hype and some. A nice r32 GTR for 35k is not only a good investment as the price for good ones keep going up every year, and I feel that I get a 35k+ driving experience out of it.
Friend Built i was looking for a gtr and ended up getting a gtir instead. 35k miles and mint. Paid 14k for it. My theory was the gtir was still underpriced and best to get it first. Same car would be 20k a year later. That was a year ago. Buying a gtr this year.
The VIN number is the big problem. everyone is doing it illegal. Saw many Skyline got caught by the police. And you won't get your money back. You also wanna let a professional guy checked it up becsuse many Skyline they were rapedly so bad.( drifting and street racing)
It's common knowledge that the Kenmeris and Hakosukas were the only Skylines/GT-Rs ever made... beauty, soul, etc. R32s, 33s, and 34s are the spawn of a Buick Le Sabre and a Toyota Cressida, and NO amount of money can make them look any better than a brick. And, unmodded, their performance and handling is so mediocre - that's why you usually only see them turned into 1500hp monstrosities for drag strips and drift meets. No road courses or hillclimbs for these crap piles. BMW makes a proper inline 6. Nissan does not. So, unless your Skyline is 1st or 2nd gen, it's crap and therefore it has no business wearing a Skyline/GT-R badge. Of course, the 'R35' is also hideous, and has rightly become irrelevant.
+Brad Jensen lol The car won 29 races from 29 starts, and won the series title each year between 1989 to 1993, so obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. What car do you have? Or are you just a 14 year old troll
I see that night kids sticker 😏
Hahah I had to man.
Got my hands on R32 Nismo !!!
Only 40,000 Km !!!
Glenn Takamine what!!!! You got videos? Tell me everything about it. That’s so cool I’m jealous.
And check the trunk to see if it's not leaking especially r33
Hello from Ukraine!
Informative video, i`ve subscribed
That sound, immense, subscribed 😎

In about 6 - 8 weeks ...
Smog in Cali is very Expensive !!!
Took Deliveri 2 weeks ago , drove it once & sent it to be Smoged ...
Great information for any potential buyer/owner! Great video.
Thanks for watching bro!
Smog in California is very expensive for the r32 about $10,000 ...
To register in California ...
They will be crushed immediately by the cops. Sad

+NelKel JDM thanks bro! I’m just having fun making the videos.
@@friend_built .how much money did you spend to buy this R32?
Good video!!! A little nervous! But great video for what I need to look for when I buy mine!
Still have it and it is still just as fun to drive today as it was when I first got it.
That’s great!! I can’t wait! I may end up getting a gts-t though. The gtrs are little out of my price range now.
Audio needs to be leveled - sometimes too loud or too quiet.
Nice video though.
R32 GTR or FD RX7?

Just look for rust that’s the killer. The rb20 is not the best engine so if you can save and get a Gtr you will be much happier.

Very Educational !!!
Save a lot of Headaches !!!
Good Video!!!
Thanks for the information and the details to look for 😊👍
Thanks for watching
Are those windshields replaceable here in the U.S? I’d hate to have to import it.
Brian J Malmsteen they are easy to get. A shop in Canada has them in stock I think for 550
What do you think of Montu Motors? Thinking of purchasing one from there but I won't be able to see the car in person.
Well I’ve herd a lot of bad things about montu. In fact there is some new drama going down on the American skyline owners club today about them. I got mine from IVI. I personally wouldn’t buy from montu due to there reputation.
Damn, I appreciate this info. So go with IVI then? I'm in California.
If you are in California just hit up IVI

Just remember you get what you pay for. There is a reason some sell for 25k and others sell for 35k
Boulder Colorado is beautiful, just like the car...
Thank you.
@@friend_built great video man, maybe one day I can own one too :)

how do i import a r32 like what website and stuff
I had international vehicle importers do everything for me. I jump on a plane to Long Beach ca and drove it home.
@@friend_built what website did u go to for the car
International vehicle importers

I would try rightdriveparts.com
Nice 32 dude
+thedownshiftchannel thanks man! I love it
So what do you do about the radio if you want to listen to the radio but it doesn't pick up am and fm?
Just need to go install a AM FM Band Expander, it’s easy to do. I just went with a aftermarket radio so I could plug my phone in
I rate the sicker!
Nice car dude.
What hp will you be shooting for?
It made 350 this year, I’m going e85 and a bit more boost hopefully I’ll hit 420

how can you tell if the ECU is reflashed by looking at it?
Sanaa Keshavarz-Rahbar mine had a sticker on it saying “reflashed by blitz”
What's it like driving a RHD for the first time if you are used to manual transmission?
You will get used to it in 15 minuets of driving. For my the hardest part is the turn signal switch being on the right side of the wheel lol
Love the Skyline GTR's. Just that most are too beat up and old and rusty to consider spending $25K+++
Yeah now all the junk gtr’s are going for 25k if you want a nice one there like 35k+
You are correct!!! They've been blown Waaaaaaay out of proportion! Not worth the price tag anymore. All HYPE!!!
I definitely disagree. They more than live up to the hype and some. A nice r32 GTR for 35k is not only a good investment as the price for good ones keep going up every year, and I feel that I get a 35k+ driving experience out of it.

Only 55,000 Km !!!
92 / white ...
Absolutely Bone Ass Stock !!!
Factory air box
Factory exhaust
Factory wheels
Very Clean / al most Mint ...
That’s a killer find! When do you take delivery?
If I wanted a R32 for $10,000 do you think that I could find one?
+MustangMitchell not a GTR but you can definitely get a gts-t for 10k. But for 10k you should look at a Nissan gti-r (baby Godzilla)

Kneesmow guage cluster
That squat
Stock wheels looks best imo!!
Definitely and when there is some nice sidewall to the tires it rides nice
Yeah! Im looking for stock wheels for my gtr
There are a few sets on eBay for a ok price
Gotta check it out! Subbed you btw :D
