We had a pretty trash boys soccer team in high school, like 4 subs. We went 1-13-2 (should've been 5-11, but still not good). The girls team went like 12-4 or something like that. They talked trash to us the entire season until we scrimmaged them near the end. We quit once the boys went up 10-0, and had restrictions on our best players where they couldn't move the ball forward so our defenders scored the last 5 goals.
I had a similar situation in high school, where there was a freshmen team below JV that I played on as a freshman. And we were not good
But we beat the really, really good (some went to d1 colleges and one went straight to Olympic development) girl's varsity team 7-3 in a 45 minute scrimmage. It's just not fair competition
