I absolutely love your videos. They show everything you take the time to go slow enough for us to watch and see it ALL which I appreciate tremendously!, Thank you
Thanks again for the great tour. The food hall is amazing and beautiful! I love Indian food and the spare ribs looked amazing. I think I’d get those deviled eggs too!
Looks fabulous! Can't wait to try it in November. Concerned the touchpad says "Paid" at the end of ordering. One day it may not be complimentary. Virgin voyages also has a food hall instead of a huge buffet
They purchased a system from a vendor and that is how it operates. It also isn’t fully built-out. The button just said “place my” because “order” couldn’t fit in the space allocated for the button. They could invest in a custom-built application to make it a little more NCL style. That may come in time.
I’m also excited about NCL bringing Hudson’s menu to the rest of the fleet if all goes well on Prima. The menu is robust and instead of doing 7-14 different menus in good quality they can do one menu in excellent quality. Also happy to see dedicated Indian fare with Tamara and bringing the best of Q to the complimentary dining level.
Another aspect one must to take in consideration is that, on this post pandemic era, ships are, pretty much all of them understaffed. So now, companies need to rethink most of their operational schemes. On newer ships that's easier than on older ships. One just need to make the changes by design. On older ships sometimes one needs some design changes to accomplish the goal. In a not so long time frame I can see mainstream cruising going from the regular buffet+MDR classic format to such a multiple buffet with no or minimal MDR with reduced or single menu in them. For Prima class NCL has chosen the Food hall+buffet+minimal MDR approach. That way they can please most, while reducing even if slightly the personnel numbers so that the experience be consistent.
what are the operating hours? It looks a bit cluttered and not spaced out. but i love the concept and that they bring the food to you, although not outside.
Sailing on the Prima on September 13. Looks like the quality of food had not been upgraded for this new ship. NCL could use some Southern U.S. lady cooks to train them to make excellent desserts which we eat every day. NCL and other cruise lines mostly serve the desserts which are made from thick puddings, for my lack of better descriptions. If one has not experienced better types then NCLs desserts may amaze one.
I love the way you are so nice and friendly to the crew. I wish everyone was like you.
Thank you so much Aimee yes the crew are the real hero’s and I agree we should all try and respect everyone of them take care Pete

Thanks for the video. Can’t wait to get on in April!! Yes, will go straight to the food hall as soon as we get on. 😋
How lovely, the crew are not wearing masks. So great for them to finally be able to show their faces again. :)
Can’t wait to try everything in January. What a wonderful video

Great video, Thanks! This seems the model for future mainstream cruising dining scheme, one or the other way.
Very nice. I have 2 casino comp cruises on the NCL, and I be using them for this ship.
thanks for the info and showing all the menus
I'm on the Prima out of Galveston in October, Tuna Tostada it is!
Lovely to see you there and the crew are lovely too
Indulge food hall is very good.
Self seating. Ordered by iPad. Different ethnic food.
They even serve breakfast
Someday Pete, I'm gonna find myself onboard the Prima or Viva
I"m with you. The Indian is looking fantastic.
Virgin voyages also has a food hall. It's still basically the same thing as a buffet, only you get served instead of serving yourself.
Yes they do but thankfully the Prima has kept the buffet cheers Pete

There’s no charge it’s a glitch cheers Pete
Same thing happens at Food Republic even when using the dining package.
Prima has a buffet as well as the food hall.

....and did you have a favorite entree and dessert from indulge??? sailing her on 10-10. looks fabulous and uncrowded with so many places to eat.

I'm so ready to be onboard on in 4 days!!
Row-tiss-ah-ree lol loved the video
Please review the spa.
So sorry the spa had clients in so couldn’t film it cheers Pete

Any washy washy stations before entering the food hall?
Lots of them and they encourage you to do that cheers Pete
I knew it was going to be Chicken Tikka!
That looked nothing like chicken tikka masala lol
The staff looked like they were afraid to say they didn't like everything! One Saud Garlic Naan was his favorite! That's not a meal!
you barely showed any of the food....vidoe of signs and people talking....show more food
Onboard in 7 days in NYC for 21 days ….. ✌️🛳️
