Spitfire flypast as hundreds turn out for Dame Vera Lynn's funeral | ITV News

A rapturous applause rang out in the Sussex village of Ditchling today as the final curtain came down on the remarkable life of Dame Vera Lynn.
Crowds lined the streets as the revered star's cortege passed through en route to her funeral.
The procession coincided with an RAF flypast honouring the "Forces Sweetheart"- who died aged 103 last month.
