I finally got up into one of my favorite canyons now that the snow has melted and it was great.
Got some good off roading in and saw some even better views of the landscape!
AWD Update** currently the All wheel drive is still under investigation (and not working) but I believe it is the Encoder Motor causing all my headache. I have bought one of amazon and I am now just waiting to replace it for the old one. Hopefully it works!
Thanks for watching and as always SUBSCRIBE for more content!
Granny age here and don’t know anything about van repair but enjoy your beautiful adventures!!! Appreciate your humbleness, photography, and editing skills!!!
Thank you very much!
For wee bogs of dryish mud like that, just drive it like you stole it, Bronson lol, and by the time it thinks about gettin stuck, you'll have bounced thru it, and out the other side lol ..... I think it's called momentum, a dude called Newton or Einstein invented it lol
Another great uplifting video Bronson, what a great way to live, and learn about life and sooooo many other things
Hahah yeah I was planning on that but figured I could test out the AWD in the meantime
From California and I have to say from your ongoing conversion to your drone shots are already next level at such a young age. Watching other You Tubers I can see your Channel joining the Upper Ranks💪😎💪
☘️🚐☘️. 👍👍⬆️
Aw man, I appreciate that!
I’d love to be able to do this full time and upgrade my effort into it
Hey Bronson, I am glad you had the MaxTrak Recovery Boards with you this time as they can really help out if you're stuck in mud. Also if you don't already, get a Garmin Satellite In-reach communicator that you can use to text or get help by pressing the emergency button--You need a subscription plan you can sign up for with Garmin. Utah is beautiful and I really like your van build. It looks very nice inside. Thanks for sharing
Thanks a great idea. I will get one, thank you for the information and for the kind comments 😄
You need a small saw in your emergency supplies. A cutting board would be advisable also. ❤
Very wise
I think that mud puddle was following you. Beautiful view of the sunset to relax and reflex. I remember you mentioned the the name brand of the headlights on your van. That paint job will handle the light scraps by tree branches. I have to be careful about small branches. I need a small electric ,handheld chain saw to clear branches.
I’m sure it will haunt me as long as I’m in the mountains 😂
Here is the link to the headlights and the wiring harness as well :)

doing great on the vids. Subscribed and following along.
A piece of advice: When you're out in the middle of nowhere, close your door unless you want to come back to the van and find a racoon (or worse) inside
Welcome to the channel ✌️✌️
I’ve got a problem with leaving my windows open too, it’s a work in progress
@@bgrace27 I noticed all of the mosquito squatting in the next video :D
Two ways to improve: Magnet bug net/screen for all the openings
Portable bug zapper (they're like 20 bucks nowadays and double as a lantern)
Your videos are really captivating, I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them from the van build to the gorgeous scenery. Here's hoping the AWD gets resolved with the new part. Good luck!
I really appreciate the support! Is there a any content you’d like to see from me?
@@bgrace27 You're a talented carpenter, I will watch anything you build {does that mean I need to get out more? lol}. Honestly though it's your personality, your camera skills, and your easy going nature that makes you fun to watch. I also wanted to say life is all about learning, we should never stop learning. I'm 52 and learning something new every day, even things that may be obvious to others. You got this. It's going to be a blast watching your channel grow!
@@katrinhalookca I agree, what’s the point of pursing life if you’re not willing to seek a way to learn!
Enjoyed all of your van build videos and can’t wait for your travels. I’m coming along for the ride! Safe travels bud 🍀 . Oh ya ! You look just like Mav.
Thank you! I really appreciate the support
It must be true, everybody keeps saying that I do, I’ll take it as a compliment 😄
@@bgrace27 definitely a compliment . Just be yourself like you have been and stay consistent with your content then watch your channel grow. ( Guaranteed ) p.s. don’t pay any attention to the negative comments or the trolls 🧌. Good luck bud ! I’m subscribed so see ya around ✌️🙌
If you bring the van to a dealer, they can diagnose the AWD problem and you can use their diagnosis to do the work yourself. It couldn't take more than an hour to diagnose. Just saying the obvious I guess, but good luck. Your videos seem to be captivating and thanks for taking us along on your journey. ⭐🌟⭐
Thanks for the information!
Really enjoy your content - there's nothing pretentious, so much so, that your videos somehow feel that I'm along for the journey. Plus, the drone footage was fantastic.
Well thank you very much! I’m really glad you are enjoying!
Good video man. Also you needa just google year, make & model of your van with “service AWD light on it works 3 times & blows fuse what’s the problem” or something like that basically & you should typically be able to find either a video of someone talking about it that can help or also different forum posts of people asking about the same problem or something similar & then other people responding to it with what the problem could be or a potential few different options to help you solve what the problem could be. Really doing that for just about any regular popular vehicle with just about any potential problem that you may have come up is typically going to help lead you to a video or forum post of someone asking the same question as you & you’ll usually always end up finding an answer. It’s what I’ve always done & has helped me out alot multiple times with figuring out different problems I’ve had with all my different vehicles I’ve owned. Good luck on getting it figured out & fixed bro! I hope that you’re able to solve it soon!
Hey thank you for the advice! I looked and found an Astro/Safari forum and it thankfully has helped 👊
@@bgrace27 No problem at all bro. I know how it is to have things like that happen with your car & to not be sure how to go about fixing it. I’ve learned sooo much from forums thankfully, even when it may be something odd going on with your car that you may feel is something just happening to you & you may think nobody else has experienced the same kind of thing with their car, 99.99% of the time it’s definitely happened to multiple peoples cars at some point & you can always find some solution to fix what’s going on by just searching it out online. I’m glad that it’s helped you out!! I’m sure you’ll have some more stuff just go on overtime that you will end up being able to find answers to fix things with the van, that’s how it goes with older vehicles as they age, but that’s a good thing because you get to freshen up & extend the life of the good reliable vehicles like the van is for instance.
I love the Van bro! I think you need a 4 legged friend to hang out with, it's all beautiful but looks a little lonely. Also, good to see you got the tracks on top and a shovel, Until you get it set up for 4x4 or get the AWD fixed they are great to have!
I’d love to get a dog or cat one day but first I need to travel for some time and decide if it’ll work. You’re right though, I’d be a lot less lonely
i stumbled upon this channel and tbh i don't regret it and you remind me a lot of mav
That's what I thought too. He reminds me a lot of Mav.
Everybody says that 😂 I’ll take it as a compliment 😉
The view is amazing love watching your videos so relaxing thank you for taking us along ..until your next video stay safe stay healthy stay strong ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
Thank you!
Dude I think this is my first video I've seen and I have to say you have a very cool build and I definitely want to build my SUV like your van. Great video and awesome content, thank you.
Well thank you so very much! I’m glad I could help 🤙
I really liked this video thankyou for sharing it what a beautiful view here from Ontario Canada ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦😎
I’ve gotta visit Canada one day too!
Very friendly people in canada Vancouver Island is very beautiful And British Columbia
So many mountains in Vancouver, Island, and British Columbia
I really enjoy your chill vids and nature Videography 👍BTW, that texturized paint job is amazing! Good luck on that AWD thingy🤷♀️
Thank you! And since this video, the AWD is now fixed
Hey brother awesome videos I've seen them all. I'm in Vegas very hot here you would definitely need an a/c over here. Keep up the good work. I was a union electrician so enjoyed the pipe bends.
That’s awesome, I’ve never been to Vegas and I plan to visit in the van someday. It always cool to say hi to an Electrician 😎
@bgrace27 if you do come to Vegas I recommend October thru February that's the cooler weather. You van is really awesome.
Cat litte for snow and ice!
I’ve never thought about that before but that’s genius
It was handy, I got stuck on ice and snow drifts over the winter, I was surprised it worked! You have to give it a few minutes to absorb! It really works!
There is a way to convert an AWD to a real 4X4..you should check into it. Great trip.
I’ve looked into it and I’d love to do it but it’s so expensive 😞
It’s okay because I’ve got the AWD fixed now :)
Check your speed sensors … you should have one in each of your front wheels, and one in rear in the on your rear differential… they will set all your light on …
I will look into that, thank you for the information!
Your AWD and ABS could both be traced back to the ABS switch in your front unit hub bearings . Check your connections are connected and wires are in good shape . If everything looks OK , take your van to a qualified mechanic and have them run a diagnostic on it .
Luckily I got the AWD fixed now, next I’ll look into the ABS
Your temperature sensor is right near the exhaust which is why it's reading so high.... Get yourself a folding limb saw for branches. The ABS is a "thing", it's a bad solder joint, needs to be removed and repaired - There are videos on it and you can find them repaired for sale
Where in Utah is this? I'm going to have to get my 4x4 Astro van up there, it's beautiful
Yeah I realized that, I can be ignorant sometimes…
Thanks for the ABS info!
This is up a canyon called “hobble creek” in Springville Utah. It’s on the right hand fork and the trail will take you all over the mountains. If you follow the right ones you can get all the way to Strawberry reservoir
