Once you've got your fundamentals down pat, work on your dynamics and aspire to deliver emotive lyric phrasing. After you master the technicalities, work on your heart and soul when performing. Listen to MADZ 2007's performance of "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" (composed by Aaron Paul del Rosario, originally sung by Ariel Rivera). Learn from them but don't copy them. Be your own.
