In restaurants we do not tip! It is actually weird to do so.
The priviledges Arabs have... and yet the western media will never show this side and only claim lack of human rights. A person can go bankrupt in the US if they have a medical problem - lets not even address the absolute ridiculousness of emergency room costs or how long a doctor makes you wait. Its insulting given how much they charge. Everything has to be perscribed - more doctor visits + costs, whereas in most of the world you have access to the same meds over the counter in pharmacies and for very cheap. Expolitive student debt can be inherited, no maternity leave or flexibility for breast feeding, the least amount of vacation days in the world, no sick days, long working hours, exhorbant insurance prices, high utilities costs, on average poor food quality and ingredients, and honestly borederline mediocre service quality across the board (I lived in the US for a bit - this shocked me the most). I am baffled that under these conditions people dont see how they lack their most basic fundamental human rights. I feel very sad for the American people. Life should not be that stressful! And I seriously hope their government starts getting a conscious, because this is exploiting people at an epic level.

Most of the people in this video experiencing culture shock aren’t even American. There’s no reason to be disrespectful to an entire culture and group of people. These people aren’t realizing they’re not center of the universe. They’re simply documenting them experiencing differences in culture that were surprising at first and are now part of their norm. Why do you people always feel the need to only comment on the Americans having a human experience like everyone else?
In spain we used to have the plastic bags at the super makets and stores for free when I was little, But these last years, due to all the protocols taken against climatic change , and to keep people from buying more plastic bags than what's really needed, we also have to pay 10 or 15 cents for a bag depending on the size, or if you want a biodegradable one its only 2 cents. What I personally do is re-use the ones I already have from previous shopping. ( Edit: What a bunch of grammar mistakes and spelling I made, hope it's ok now)
Wow, we have to pay around $1 per plastic bag here in Sweden. We used to use these bags for the trash but now it's too expensive to throw away. And yet the food is still packed in plastic that can't be reused. A big fail if you ask me.
