Gift from GOD his voice great raw talent
This is proof of why Elvis was the best vocalist the good Lord ever gave us.
AMEN
Elvis won three Grammy,s for this song over three decades for singing it in three different way,s, that,s my boy.
His first Grammy was for the Album "How Great Thou Art", in 1967, his second Grammy was for the Album "He Touched Me" in 1972, and his third Grammy was for his live performance of "How Great Thou Art" in 1974
Elvis did God's will using his talents, I believe. He did say to build the kingdom of God early in his career.
Sin gets in the way, but we still serve him faithfully.
It was said that a group of fans held up a sign referring to Elvis as the king. He asked them to take it down…God was the only King!
Elvis was raised on gospel and was very spiritual.
I definitely remember the day Elvis Presley died. I was only a few miles from Memphis, you couldn't get into or out of Memphis. I was and always will be a great Elvis fan. Rest in Peace Elvis
The real Elvis ... singing to his God ... love this man !!
We heard the voice of God thru Elvis.
He was a messenger….
My Mom loved his gospel songs. She played them while she drove. Love him, love, love, love my Mom!
Amazing elvis only grammys were for Gospel
I agree with above comment just sends chills all over. If this doesn't bring tears nothing will. Love you Elvis. REST IN PEACE. Your memory is instilled in all of us❤❤❤❤
No autotune or computers. REAL HARMONY
❤️❤️❤️🤗real music!
Have to love how wonderful of a musician he was! @QueenBReacts
The 1977 version before his death is rated as the greatest gospel life song ever. This man loved God and made no secret about it.
Just listening brings tears to my eyes and an overwhelming feeling of joy in my heart. Elvis was real and, yes, he truly loved his band, his singers and all his people. Thank you for reacting to it. We knew you would feel it and that you would love it too. God bless you.🙏
When music was actually music.
This comes from the SOUL, from the GUT.
I'm an atheist, and I listen to this song on repeat! I am just AWED by his voice, his presence, his sexiness, his ELVIS-NESS.
It says in the Bible that faith is a choice and not forced, but for those who do choose belief there’s nothing like the power of assurance of gods higher being ❤
I absolutely love Elvis gospel music most of all. Hair stands on my neck each and every time. This is in the middle of a rock concert, Elvis goes to church and millions go along with him!
I love the "you not finna leave me like that Elvis. " Best reaction ever to this song!
Jezes heeft zijn leven ook voor jou gegeven barbara.! And hy loves you.!!!
Just amazingly beautiful
Elvis simply transformed when he sang gospel songs, the music came from deep within his soul.
Beautiful!
❤️❤️❤️🥰
5:14 the prettiest smile I ever did see
No one and I mean no one sings that song better than Elvis Presley! The backing vocals are amazing… Off the chart amazing and complement Elvis‘s voice perfectly.
That is so true!
the only one that comes close is Carrie Underwood.......
Exactly Elvis Presley is one of the most amazing singers that ever lived
Plus he always went first class with his bands, and back up singers.
Mahalia Jackson?
Excellent Commentary to the most fabulous Words ever Whitten. To have a great Song, the timing has to be Perfect. This sound shattered every Musical ever Written. Thanks for Sharing this Spiritual splendor.
Elvis to us to Church!
Yes he did!
The bass is JD Sumner with the Stamps Quartet this live was beyond powerful
Elvis If I can dream 🫶
I get goose 🦆 bumps every time his vocals cords get higher and higher
J D Sumner and the Stamps, J D is bass, also the Sweet Inspirations sing with him in concert and his recordings. He was truly a gift from God.
This was my Grandma Daisy's favorite song.
I miss you Gma D 🌹❤️🌹
That “low register”, belonging to one his back up singers, the Jordanairs, held the world record for deepest bass in the world.💜
That low voice is J.D. Sumner. He and Elvis were close.
If you don’t like Elvis you have no taste in music…I could sit and listen all day to this gospel music and anything Elvis sings …. I still remember what and where l was when l heard he passed away….
I wish I could tell you the stories of Elvis! I grew up listening to him and hearing about him and his music!
The King!!
I have never thought this way, but I we will get to meet him someday
You should hear Elvis sing this in 1974 live in Memphis
Elvis The King but his gospel was amazing he knew bout 500 gospel songs love you xx
I like your reaktion to Elvis Musik, the way you feel it. Greetings from a big Elvis Fan from germany. Best wishes
By the way, you should listen to Way down, Way on Down if you want hear how low the baritone can go! And see T.J. perform it, I think they are his initials, brought out in the 70's I believe. I loved all the backup singers, especially the black ladies. Gospel was what he sang after leaving the stage, it was how he calmed his a soul. Evis grew up attending Baptist Churches each Sunday with his mum and that was where he learnt about real singing. He was born in 1935, so her grew up during segregation and I believe, he was "Heaven" sent because he respected all people and healed the divide between black and white. This song usually brings tears tomy eyes each time I hear Elvis sing it. Probably because I know he was a troubled soul losing his twin at birth and his mum at 42 while he was in Germany doing his Military Service. Then his seperation and divorce from his wife compounded his heartaches. But he always poured his heart and soul into his music and performances. Rest in peace.
Nobody on earth sings this song like Elvis!!!
I loved watching this video. I miss hearing Elvis ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This was a former gospel group called the Jordons. They back him his whole life
This is in concert! A mass of people. Sitting there. He took us to church! Try it now...please...
ELVIS sings this song sooo good, a swedish song from 1886..."O STORE GUD".
That is J. D. Summers singing that low bass voice!
When Elvs was so hot in the 50's they were saying he can sing a little bit but he has never sang anything that really showed he could sing. When he put this song out they all bowed to Elvis. They finally agreed this man can sing....R.I.P Elvis 💕👑💕
And then he won a GRAMMY for it🏆
He could indeed sing🥰
He CAN sing I believe😇
I love this thank you Elvis ❤❤❤❤❤
That real low voice is JD Sumner. He was known for his extraordinarily low C and amazingly clear baritone voice. Amazing to hear, would shake your insides out.
Two years later, I want give you an FYI...that deep deep voice backing up Elvis was J.D. Sumner...a gospel singer and the lowest register ever recorded. And a true friend of Elvis.
👏👏👏👏👏👏bravooo hermosa voz de mi elvis
Elvis was in awe of The Jordanaires. Notice his slight smile and shake of his head every time JD Sumner goes deep. He knew he was in the presence of greatness....As were they.
The Holy Spirit is always in Elvis when he sings Gospel cause Jesus knows where his heart truly is, with Our Father. Amen
His voice is BUTTER and immediately hits your Soul like a lightning bolt from Heaven.
You explained that perfectly!!!
Elvis certainly puts you in your feelings! The Rock n Roll and gospel King!!!
The King 👑
Magnificent, that,s my boy.
That low voice is J.D. Sumner. He used to make fun of elvis when elvis tried to sing bass. Lol. He was in Guinness book for lowest note.
I always wonder if God will allow Elvis to sing at The Lamb's wedding feast.
That very deep voice your hearing is J.D.Sumner, they say Elvis just loved his deep register. He did sound so amazing.. Two of my all time favorites are "american trilogy" and "take my hand precious lord" both also have J.D.Sumber in the background as well. His gospel music is so amazing, all of his music is just so beautiful.
Tell it baby. That super deep voice is JD Sumner. If you get a chance, watch the documentary Elvis - That's The Way It Is. You won't be sorry, I promise you.
Acclimation : our words through unmerited grace in HIS presence.
Affirmation: our humble, unselfish immediate soul/spirit reaction--- on our knees OR prone in HIS majestic presence in a timeless environment.
there is not a day that goes by that i don't think of him and all the memories we made in 10 short years, his death knocked the wind out of me i have never been the same since, Elvis was the big brother i never had. He is also my guardian angel. Graceland is my go to place when it get's to hard to live w/o my friend i go there and walk around and remember Elvis and all the beautiful times we had together. He was the only person in my life that understood me and i understood him we cared about each other faults and all. What it comes down to is we both needed a friend and we were that for each other. Awesome reaction. God bless you and your family from the one and only Memphis Tn. #forevermyking #forevermysexyjello
🥰I am lovin' THIS!😇 I'm gonna let my son know I found another Elvis fan!!! 👍 *sometimes we hear this comin' from his room, lol, they jammin tho!!!" I'm sendin' him this vid!!❤
Hey Momma❗️👋🏽😘

contrast this performance with his 77 performance and it's chilling !
G.O.A.T.!!!
That bass singer is Richard Sturban, bass singer for the Oak Ridge Boys
This is why Elvis is King 👑👑👑
His song why me lord will make you cry. It hits your soul
ELVIS - greatest gospel album, never disappoints
My favorite rendition of the song by him what's the one he did in his last concert it was so powerful it brought me to tears. I wish you would do a reaction to that version in 1977 you would love and so would we
Look it doesnt not matter what colour others label us when the gospel in you its in you. But as a white person i would like to rhank my black brothers for giving us the heart to express the gospel in such beauty. I thank you and love you
Now that's what I call a great reaction. You felt it and showed it. It gets me everytime he sings Gospel. He puts everything he has in it and you can tell by the look on his face, he was right back in church as a kid shouting it out to Heaven. God bless you.❤❤🙏🙏🙏
U have to check out his last performance of this song in 1977. His vocals will blow yo miiind❗️🫡
I always hoped for someone to end this wonderful song with enough strength!
The only awards Elvis received was for his gospel songs. That’s JD Summners and the Stamps quartet with the Sweet Insperations
Jesus kissed his throat when he was born!!
Oh, such a beautiful voice! It always makes me cry when I hear him sing this

Unique..
Only Elvis, the King of Rock n Roll can sing praise like that to the King of the world.❤❤❤❤❤
That performance would makes you want to walk up the aisle on Sunday morning
His last concert in 1977 he sang this and so soulfully, he nearly took the roof off.
Well worth your time to react to. Keep up the good work. 😊
💔🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
"Let's get into it" let me keep pausing the song and commenting.she means... just wait to the end ..
The bass is JD Sumter. His group. Elvis had him all the time.
Hello Again Queen Berry, love to watch this again.
Hello!🥰😍❤️
JD Sumner of the stamps quartet, amazing voice
Watch the 1977 rendition, the last show he ever did, it is mind blowing,
El mejor himno que podia cantar Elvis a dios
This song you can feel in your soul 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
JD singing that bass!!!
Soul stirring! Elvis loved the father! it's in his voice!
Awesome!
You can see Whitney Houston's mother Cissy Houston as one of his backup singers here.
Love that song especially when Elvis sings it, in the 1977 song when he sings How great thou art, he sings How great I think you are o Lord....just beutiful...Singing to God the Creator...
