I think Yhwach was conscious again after 900 years, but not able to move again for another 90, so he could only angrily stare while Haschwalth administered a ban against Souken.
that's what I've been telling others. The reason why the arrow works and is not a plot hole is because it was LEGIT shown to us in the manga and anime before Blood War. I thought it was a given that in order to stop or delay, the Almighty was using the blood of those who either survived or from the Quincies that are still alive. We know that Yhwach can't see the future of something that connects to the Soul King evidence to that when Ukitake used himself to help the Soul King using Mimihage
The Ishidas were the only Quincy to legitimately have a contingency when Yhwach returns. All other Quincy neither considered the possibility of Yhwach being defeated nor did they believe he would be by soul reapers
It would be interesting to see the various internal nuances of the Quincy factions and their support for or opposition to Yhwach's empire. Still, in the war's aftermath cooler heads have prevailed and Soken's ideas can take hold amongst the survivors.
Despite claiming revenge on Yhwach for centuries. Bazz B never went looking for a legitimate way to seriously harm the Quincy king. Even when he was weakened after he brutally lost the first blood warfare. It should be obvious that even within silbern exists no tool or information considering Yhwach only allows propaganda in his favor. Not something like a banned library with dangerous knowledge. It really needed an outside branch like the Ishida family that would carefully craft something to leave a entity as Yhwach powerless for the blink of an eye. Yet still needed a powerful force to be actually able to use that opening. Here we are again, the Quincy race is far too busy, fighting amongst each other while „evil, evil“ soul reapers are still calling the shots in this universe.
I think the change we will see is that Uryuu and his dad actually planned together the assassination of Yhwach especially since Kubo removed Uryuu plan to disrupt the castle right. So by making it a plan he came up with or learnt about and his dad involved and did some planning makes more sense
Maybe Ryuken and Uryu relationship developed just like how Ichigo and Isshin is. Ryuken as a father is entrusting Uryu's capability to accomplish its mission in its own way.
I would like to know how Souken Ishida learned about the Awswhalen weakness though. Discovering the silver is one thing, but how it affects the one who uses it? How would he learned that?
He needed to go through the terrible method of examining a victim of the Auswahlen. Ryuken extracted the silver from his late wife. Though to carefully craft a weapon to leave Yhwach powerless for the blink of an eye isn’t enough. It needs someone as powerful as Ichigo or Uryu to actually use that opening. So the Ishidas must’ve had experimented themselves.
It also seems very likely we gonna have total new setup with Uryuu with how the finale showed his mother didn’t die from her power taken. Combined with Uryuu says to Ichigo he has his master and mother blood seems very specific to me. A mother dying is very different in a story to a mother sacrifice of her life for her children, so by having Uryuu mother sacrifice her life for Uryuu it mirrors what happened to Ichigo but also matches more Uryuu guilt and sadness aura that he has had from the start.
If is indeed a fact that Emperor Yhwach had first learned the truth at the meeting in his headquarters 1,000 years ago with Ichibei, but chosen to accept the status quo held up by the Zero Division, Central 46, and Soul Society, would a peace have been achievable?
Impossible Yhwach could never accept the status quo. Yhwach is EXACTLY like ichigo…. His only goal is to protect the ones he loves….. The difference between the 2, is ichigo only feels connected to his friends/family Whereas Yhwach feels connected to everyone….. Me and my friends use to joke that if ichigo ever had the hogyoku, its power would just make all his friends immortal. But thinking about it, that’s exactly what yhwach is trying to achieve in the new world. He wants everyone to find peace.
Because it’s not his responsibility. People are responsible for their own actions. Yhwach came to the conclusion that his father had abandoned the Quincies by creating a world they don’t fit in. Even though he has entered Reio’s memories. It’s not something that he intentionally did or didn’t. Rather he let a opportunity pass which he foresaw with his enhanced almighty. Yhwach is first and foremost the ruler of a military dictatorship. Until he made a name for himself he was collecting as much military as political power. He’d want to conquer soul society next. You’ve seen in the anime that negotiations failed because the more powerful Yhwach became, the more possessive he’d be. It was a slow process but inevitable. He suffered a humiliating and brutal defeat by the og Gotei that shook him to the core. His sternritters were the retribution for that.
"A war between 2 mustached men" 😂😂😂😂😂 chef's kiss, Simo 😎
Actually totally buy Tite Kubo having that thinking 😂
yhwach : you cannot deny trespassing in my palace several times
sōken: you cannot deny these nuts

Moral of the story: don't kill people's moms.
Especially if their the protagonist's mother
Is that why he also looks like the V.

It’s Kubo‘s way of fixing the rushed ending. For everyone to fully understand
I wouldn't be surprised if we find out that Mayuri did not actually torture Souken but have been working with him all along until his passing.

Imagine getting souken flashback in cour 4 :D
Maybe why Uryu's grandma was so against impure quincy is because she's kinda know the auswahlen?
How the hell did the Shinigami not notice the Auswählen? This has to be one of the greatest failures of the Soul Society.
Why would the soul king do what he did with the Quincy? He could have made them their own world to avoid the hollows but he chose not to
Because it’s not his responsibility.

Mustache? So... this was a Hitler v/s Stalin ?!
juha is based on wilhelm and charlemagne
@ska4666 MUCH-MUCH -MORE like Wilhem The Conqueror(( Yhwach )) vs Carl G. Jung (( Souken Ishida ))
Souken is the Soul King's father! DUN, DUN, DUN! HAHAHA
