Dan is such a big part of the growth of Clay Target shooting in the USA and he has been somewhat private in the past. His interview here is a great run down of the accomplishments his shooting earned him, and his take on where the games are today. Thank you for putting the time into capturing this information.
Super Great Shooter, I had the opportunity to shoot on his squad in the 1987 World Cup and the Panamerican Cup where he shoot 200/200. Unbelievable .!!
Dan Carlisle is a legend. I took lessons from him in the early 2000’s and he was a phenomenal coach. However, as I’m sure Dan would agree, the late Bob Brister is the true father of sporting clays in the U.S.
another great interview. Can you please post the name of the Eye doctor mentioned by Dan. I did some google but i was not able to get through. He brought very interesting eye dominance issue. I always thought i had something similar on the left high birds. Thanks a lot
The thyroid comment really hit home. I'm constantly told ,"You're under it " by different coaches. I have a thyroid issue. Now I'm going to see what medication adjustments if any can be made to address the issue. Great interview.
Great interview with Dan !! I was part of the first USA sporting team that shot in Manchester, England. Dan was our Captain.

You have to interview Ray Stafford
We would love to do that. Ray is an absolute ATA legend who also is an Olympian.
I am looking for the name of the eye doctor that Dan referred to.
Dr Richard Colo is your man
