On housing you can only use box dye I just found out
I am a hairdresser but mostly do only men's cuts and don't do much color. I have stubborn gray hair and even after I used Joico 7NN with a 20 developer my gray looks that funky ugly light of brown redish color that we hate. How do I pre soft my gray hair with out having hot roots?
Mayra, try Rusk Deepshine. They use micro pigment technology and people say it would cover their grey at only 10 volume, which does not lift natural hair color too much.
Also you could try using colder shades. Joico has that SB series, supposed to be ultra cool.

Well he uses bleach and high lift color first, then used the demi toner third which is like redken eq...Seems like their is a easier way to get this. I wish they would put the formulas in the text of the video.
How is it different from Redken shades eq?
It is yellow again, always yellow no gold shine :) YELLOW !
