Great to see you and Bernie making the most of the trip to pxg for your channel, great content. I would be great to see another vlog from Perranporth, stunning view to match a stunning course
Always nice to see you and Bernie together. Really miss that combo. PXG makes some really good stuff, will definitely test them out when I go for my fitting this year. Cheers.
Last year bought a pxg 5 wood. Had great shaft options, beautiful club. Loved the packaging it came with to. Love the 5 wood easy to hit and just nice club.
I did enjoy yhe PXG fitting I had. Still top of the list for new irons. However, just had mine lie and loft checked and after abit of bending my old set are completely transformed!
Wow -big change. Be interesting to see what you think of the woods. Whilst I love the brand I lost 20 yards and caused me a few injuries so went back to Cobra. Glad I tried them out though. Good luck.
Afternoon Dan and great to see the backyard taking shape. Hoping that one day we will have the same PXG experience here in Aus as at the moment only a few even stock their gear and I know that the fitting experience would be so much better in their own store. Cheers and hopefully the weather warms up soon.
I do love a swag bag of stuff Dan. I am a big fan of PXG, and as you know they have always given me bits and pieces for my charity golf day. Good people… Bob also owns Harley Davidson I believe too. Good to see you back and enjoying life again. Let’s get together soon my friend.
Nice video Dan. You seem much happier and your face is so much more relaxed. Great to see. Always loved Tour Edge clubs. Their fairway woods were way ahead of their time.
I'm glad you have a new sponsor and you've got new cloths to wear to prevent you advertising your old sponsors. If you're struggling getting course vlogs out due to weather, Stockwood vale near keynesham Bristol has superb drainage (I'm playing 18 there tomorrow), I'm sure they would love to have you around.
Last week's show about buying used is relevant today. That PXG Black Ops driver is listed for $600.00 dollars (US). Maybe in three or four years the price will be reasonable. Looking forward to seeing the backyard when it is completed. Cheers from Texas 🤠⛳🍷
Already put your St Mellion trip in the diary. Played the Nicklaus course 3 days in a row many years ago. I read up on Jack's course design mantra before playing it and it certainly lived up to it. As challenging a course you could wish for.
Great video - awesome to see you happy and out and about with the freedom to tinker. If you want some of those chips spreading in Sweden send me a handful and a soon as the snow goes I’ll leave them around!
Some very cool details about PXG! I definitely thought they’d been around at least 10 years. Makes me smile every time I hear you say heytch q 😊 Send me some of those poker chips and I’ll gladly spread them around some courses here in the Summer! With all these purchases and free stuff you get, do you ever get rid of anything, or is it all packed away somewhere? Clubs have been way too expensive for a long time now, and yes technology is not really moving on because it’s not allowed to, it’s just new marketing ideas to be honest. Good luck with the back yard (garden)!
Cracking Sunday morning show Dan, also, hope you don't mind me saying, you, seem more like your old self. The PXG kit and London facility look really good. Please keep the content coming. Cheers.
Good video. I was really impressed with idea of weights on the back of the irons to dial in swing weight. I’d love to be able to play around to see what an ideal swing weight would be rather than just get what you’re given.
Hi Dan. I have been following the channel from the start and this is definitely my favourite golf channel. I am the golf captain here at my local club in South Africa and would gladly distribute your markers if that is something you wanted. I also have a good relationship with the neighbouring Clubs. Obviously shipping would be costly from the UK.
Loved the show Dan, thanks for the garden update too. Was interesting see Bernie's vlog regarding his PXG Driver fitting on his channel too. Hope the weather improves soon so that you're back filming on the course, any news of a Wilbur guest appearance?
Excellent! It all ties in...todays' new club updates are my shopping list for about 2028. Only just caught the used review. I used to love new clubs but the last 20 years has been used all the way, apart from wedges. I've loved the journey with some great successes and a couple of hilarious fails. In used clubs I think it's cool to be uncool and minimises the 'fake' risk. I used to be Adams but now scarce to find in good nick, Cleveland drivers of late... My current one is mint and £27 from 2015. I've enjoyed minor/moderate refurbs, Brad Meehan's channel has to be checked out. Love a Tour Edge but the shafts are often too light or flexible used. What TH-cam doesn't show you is how you can use your pro to pay for a lesson/session and get some equipment advice to either buy a used set from the shop, or take away yourself to source your own, when you test these you'll middle them so it'd be nice to see a mid handicapper be fit for them. I think it helps with used buying if you've either been fit before or have some benchmark to work with, otherwise it's a very tricky water to navigate
Hi Dan, I’m pretty sure you’ve thought of it or someone has already suggested! Could you ask all your subscribers to distribute them onto their home course and any other courses they play ? Great Sunday morning show as gain 👏
Great show as always. Love to see move reviews on the used clubs. We should be encouraging the circular economy. I have a set of clubs that are six years old and recently been for a club fitting but cannot see any real difference other than a shinny new toy. The only reason that I am thinking of a change is my handicap halved into single figures.
Bought a set of PXG Gen 1 Tour model. Nice head but Elevate shaft too flexi and with its high launch kickpoint for me and they felt overall a tad light. Then managed to get a set of Gen 2 Tour model with Dynamic Gold stiff which felt heavier and more my sort of feel. Head not quite a good shape as Gen 1. I watched a few years go Dan's review of the Gen 3 ( he said best irons he has ever hit ) and would like a set but all seem to be available in the Elevate shaft. After the Gen 3 I feel the heads start to get more fussy and less clean looking ( in my opinion ) I am very happy with my Gen 2 set but might be tempted to change if I can find a set of Gen3 Tour with Dynamic Gold shafts.
Morning dan another great Sunday morning show mate. I see your taking advantage of not having a sponsor to date. In some way it must make you feel a bit free to do what you want now. I love the idea of showing the fitting side of things and I’m sure you’re a little bit excited of what you might put in your bag. The idea of you doing reviews on second hand clubs,as you’ve said clubs really have become very expensive and most of us aren’t in the position to change every year 😂 and I’m also clad to see you and Bernie still working together.
Nice video, and I watched a really interesting vlog on MrShortGame Golf channel about the golf course PXG own at Scottsdale…… unbelievable luxury and I believe the membership is $1m a year. Like the idea on doing the second hand club reviews, I’m not bothered about new club reviews, everything is just too expensive but if I can upgrade my 6 year old club Callaway clubs with second hand ones, I’ll get better value for money.
It seems, Bernie practiced with Jon Rahm who shanked his third shot in the green of a par 5 sharing the lead two holes to go last night in Vegas. I'm waiting for Bernies video with Jon Rahm!
Great Sunday morning show Dan ,PXG looks superb , I first came across tour exotics in Orlando at the PGA superstore , I always looked at then like the benross of UK golf , really great clubs for the money , nice to see the back garden taking shape it's gonna look superb , so the big question is what's in the bag for 2024 , now your not contracted R you leaning to a certain company or will you mix it up , cheers Dan .... ⛳👍
I’m sure it will be a big mix up, I want to travel around to different companies HQ’s to share my experience, like I did today at PXG. I’m pretty sure I know what I want but I was surprised with how much I like the PXG irons 👍

I have always loved PXG as a brand - innovative and there was just something about the industrial look of the early irons. Some of the clothing in that PXG store was "bright", perfect for Lester!! As for the back pack, that looks really nice, is it fake leather or real leather on the top flap?
Hmm...perhaps PXG as a sponsor? On another note, I can assume you have some soggy areas in your yard based on the clay content in that soil. I once had a house project where the drainage was so bad they always had large areas of puddles and saturated soil making the yard unusable for weeks on end. The yard was mostly grass so we ended up regrading the property, removed about 100 cubic yards of the top layer of soil, and replaced it with sand topped by a 1-2 inch layer of screened topsoil. That allowed the rain to drain through the top 6-8 inches quite easily before getting to the soil that doesn't.
Interesting broadcast, that challenge is a great idea, but probably missed the boat for this year, folk that are looking to change driver have probably already been fitted elsewhere. PXG are clearly in reinvent mode, there’re transitioning from super expensive and exclusive brand, to sitting alongside all the major brands. They do have an opportunity, as the major brands have too many venture capital investors driving price and profit ahead of R&D and value, if PXG get that right, communicate it effectively, they could steal a march on the competition.
Great show mate. I’m very interested in pxg and have entered Bernie’s draw for the driver. Could there be a deal with pxg for you? I remember your review when you smashed the drone and you were highly impressed with them back then. Garden will be ace when completed also ❤
