Not seen too much on this game, I only played 1,2 and rage wars (missed this, 3 & the 360 reboot Turok). I’m just impressed by the scale, would have loved this as a kid. Props to your skills, such precision!
@@Korninator1989 T4 deserved a snow and desert level and a larger variety on enemies such as robots, aliens, turrets, and more. That would elevate the game even more. It was heavily rushed.
@@Korninator1989 Oh the weapons suck donkey dick man. No sniper rifle. No grenade launcher. No assault rifle. No MAG 60. No auto shotgun. No explosive shells and so much more. The weapons were terrible. Only the axe and the first bow were great.
also at 49:52 is one skip i could not add because it's just not viable in an rta for me at least I am more of a glitch finder then runner, most of the gravity launches are not doable without a setup so i could not do most, essentially you can perfect them all in a tas yea, good work on the project. surviving the fall at 52:00 was interesting not sure if there is an invisible slant that saves you, but if you land on any sort of slope sometimes you wont die or take damage from fall damage.
It's a TAS a tool assisted speedrun. Its essentially a bot playing at 100% efficiency looking to clear the game in the fastest possible manner (usually TAS's are impossible to replicate with human ability)
we seriously need a new turok: evolution, not rushed and made with modern graphics. Longer and more open levels, more weapons, enemies, and movement options. And a deeper story to enthrall players, i just think it would be a hit but i know no one cares about the turok franchise anymore, the old ones were legendary.
Evolution was an ok game but there was so much room for improvement. If a new Turok ever comes out it wont be made by the same company. Have a look at 2008 Turok, i played it once and for all. True 90's era games is difficult to imitate. 2021 has different standards. Don't want to get political.

@@DARamosYT I've never in my life touched Doom. Never looked appealing to me. I played Halo on the Xbox 360 and that game also sucked dick. I played it for the sake of playing it. It came with the Xbox.
hy how did you solve the constant loading problem in the game ? I got to a few maps with it anno and then couldn't find the save :( As far as I know there is no patch for the game :(
Regular level soundtracks yes. But nothing beats the good ol' Boss music from Turok Dinosaur Hunter. I have it on my Google Drive for PC, it has no music, the mouse movement is a bit choppy, and if you mess with keyboard inputs the game will freeze, it's still playable just don't mess with inputs. You can still adjust mouse sensitive and that kinda stuff. Let me know if you still want it.

It’s been awhile but that turok download was 2 files, with two separate mini files. No iso CD image... and I have never ran a dolphin emulator. Can you send me a link to an actual video explaining it how to get the dolphin emulator working. I tried one time before when I was younger but I never understood how to combine it with the iso. Or if it’s not too much can you text the steps?

@@brotcon Yes, Dolphin is pretty straight forward. If the file icon looks like a blue dolphin double click it to launch the game. If it doesn't look like a Dolphin open it with Winrar and drag it into Dolphin, after extraction the game should lunch, if i can do it you can do it too, im a noob with computers and files in general.
oof, I have recurring nightmares of this game. I only played it bc I felt bad that my mum got me it for christmas. just a deeply upsetting, unnecessary fps especially considering what else one could play at this time. Congrats on the speedrun though!
Turok is still way ahead of its time, it's very adventurous, take any call of duty for instance, you take cover, kill the bad guys, repeat. Year after year, same pattern. That's what made Turok stand out to me. It's a combination of the past and the future. This TAS took me 8 months to make, i am currently working on a newer, better, faster TAS. I have some teasers on my channel if you like.
Just came over from your obsoleted run after checking the description a few minutes in. Right out the gate I just want to say thank you for running this. I had this game for PS2 as a kid. I don't have the free time to make TAS myself but I find the concept and the tech behind them extremely fascinating and it's so cool to see a game I wouldn't expect to be TAS'd. What platform is this on, by the by?
@@mrwess1927 The game was heavily rushed. From the very beginning to the very end you are fighting the same generic boring enemies, you end up losing half of your weapons from the beginning. It doesn't even have real bosses compared to T1/2/3. Not to mention the weapons in Evolution really suck. No MAG 60, grenade launcher, sniper rifle, assault rifle (Rage wars) auto shotgun, explosive shells and more. The music was great, and the level design was straight forward. They used to work on another game at the same time, that explains why this game kinda sucks.
@@mrwess1927 If a remaster ever comes out they will only improve visual details, mouse movement, more fps, wider FOV, maybe modify specific areas of some levels. They wont remake it from scratch of course. If it gets released on steam there is going to be a workshop where the community posts all kinds of fun downloadable mods. The current original PC is very broken.

It's a great game. Eventhough it was heavily rushed and bird levels make up 30% of the game which sucks in my opinion.
The pause buffer shotgun is terrifying.

I basically skipped the Boss fight lol, i created another TAS which is 15 minutes faster.

Im using save-states. They're built in the emulator.

The flying thingy was the biggest complain when this game came out. Would be better if we had more ground levels.
The multiplayer was practically the only reason to play this game.

Shitty game or not i loved it! It was the first ps2 game i owned and i played the fuck out of it! Also the music is super dope
