I wash my face at the sink every morning. I put a hair scrunchie on each wrist, to stop water sliding down my arms, and then lean forward to apply water to my face nearer the actual basin. I do tend to drip a lil bit on the bench top, but that’s easy enough to wipe down. Try the scrunchie trick if you haven’t before, it will change everything!

I respectfully disagree on the aging well thing; my mom (who loves the sun and smokes just like Gwyn) is in her mid-60s and her skin has much fewer wrinkles than Gwyn's, who is 48. If you look at Jessica Chastain, who is only 5 years younger, you will see the difference...not to mention all the sun damage on her chest. She looks between 5 to 10 years older than her actual age.

UVB which is present in the direct sunlight only causes pigmentation. But UVA is not only present in direct sun rays, it's always present in natural daylight, it's in your room when you open up your drapes, under shades or in cloudy days. Maybe your mum used sunscreen when she was out there in the sun. But no sumscreen blocks 100% of the UVA and UVB. Because she developed tan, and probably maintained the melanin for a long time, that probably protected her skin in the long run. A lot of darker skinned people are often sunexposed, but have fewer wrinkles than lighter skinned people. Her genetics, facial fat distribution, higher estrogen level, naturally produced HGH hormones....so many things could be behind here less wrinkled aging. My mum actually been using prescribed Tretinoin (a form of retinol) since she was young bcz she had acnes. She never stopped using bcz it kept shedding her skin, and made it look way better. She also always wore suncreen at home or closed her drapes when she wasn't wearing sunscreen. Now she is 53, and looks gorgeous. She aged way better than most 50 years old celebrities. I wish I can age like that when I'm 50.

Lol I really felt that with the acne PTSD, since beginning of the year my cystic acne came back where I last had it that bad about six years ago. I know the reasons are due to stress and hormonal imbalance but still I also always freak out when it gets better and there pop up new ones because I think now this will never end again and my selfesteem is droooping like my school grades were so yeah..
I wash my face in the shower some days or at the sink on others... it depends. To avoid splashing at the sink, wear large scrunchies or wrist sweat bands and scoop lift and dip method vs splash... the scrunchie catches the water running down your forearms. Place a hand towel folded at the edge of the sink to catch stray drops...

Phoebe was a mermaid on H2O show when she was younger, then one of my favourite parts was on the series The Originals were she played a beautiful werewolf alpha female and later becomes an hybrid when she gets bitten by a vampire BUT I digress, she is soo beautiful and a good actress.
Cassandra, please when I did drag on a regular basis I used Abilene makeup remover and of course I double cleanse because I had to go the oil off and I had cystic acne. By the time I did drag I only got an occasional small break out from the makeup. The Abilene never upset my skin
Watching Cassandra's channel really helps me with my skincare routine, i have an acne prone skin too and an oily skin so even i need to be very careful with products i use for my skin. And her channel does the work beautifully i have learned so much from her videos. ❤️🙌🏼💯

One of the reasons why I really enjoy your content is that your skin doesn't appear to be wet at all times! Most "Tiktok" and "Instagram" skinfluencers' skin look completely wet all the time! I get the glass skin trend and I understand that some people naturally have that glowy beautiful look but, I also think that well taken care of skin is not synonymous with glass skin and even with the best skincare routine one would still get occasional breakouts, redness, etc because a lot of skin issues are manifestations of internal issues! Also fine lines and wrinkles are natural and although it's nice to prevent premature aging or to delay signs of aging a little bit, it's ridiculous to associate aging with poor skin maintenance and I enjoy the fact that you don't promote those ideals.
Oh man, I just realized another reason not to put ice on your skin. Cold urticaria, sometimes referred to as a cold allergy, causes the skin to break out in hives after coming in contact with the cold. This winter, my legs broke out in a horrible, itchy rash after coming inside from a walk in harsh weather. I can’t imagine what I would do if I did that to my face 😧

I always used coconut oil to take my eye make up off but then stopped and started using other things! THE worst decision I made my eyelashes fell out through a condition called bletheritis which coconut oil fixed in a few days, I always wash it off with curel foam cleanser but I swear I’ll never be without it again

Cass, Emma Lewisham is a legitimately good brand. Wonder if we can nag them to send you stuff to try. And all NZ skincare brands have a focus on ‘natural’ products, meaning lots of plant extracts and usually plant oils, because it fits with how we as a country see ourselves. It’s not exactly the same as other countries trying to jump on a marketing bandwagon to increase sales.
I wash my face at the sink. I used to wash my face and brush my teeth in the shower, but I'm trying to reduce water consumption. I splash my face at the sink and wipe all around the sink when I'm done. Rinse my face close to the sink to minimize the splashing.
Not regulated in America, in Europe it's a whole different story. You can still go wrong with vitamins, but they are what they say they are and the amount is on the bottle, including percentage of how much you need a day and how much is in the vitamin itself.
If it's not a hair wash day, I wash my face in the sink, but it's so close to the water so I don't get water all over my bathroom lol. Cass, Emma Lewisham is a legitimately good brand. Wonder if we can nag them to send you stuff to try. And all NZ skincare brands have a focus on ‘natural’ products, meaning lots of plant extracts and usually plant oils, because it fits with how we as a country see ourselves. It’s not exactly the same as other countries trying to jump on a marketing bandwagon to increase sales.

I wash my face at the sink. I used to wash my face and brush my teeth in the shower, but I'm trying to reduce water consumption. I splash my face at the sink and wipe all around the sink when I'm done. Rinse my face close to the sink to minimize the splashing.
Not regulated in America, in Europe it's a whole different story. You can still go wrong with vitamins, but they are what they say they are and the amount is on the bottle, including percentage of how much you need a day and how much is in the vitamin itself.

If it's not a hair wash day, I wash my face in the sink, but it's so close to the water so I don't get water all over my bathroom lol. Have also definitely smacked my forehead on a tap many times doing this lol

Can't find anything on the ingredients Melanie Grant uses 🤔 For a kit on her website that includes the nutrient dense mask Phoebe used says "key ingredients: Acai, Probiotics, AHAs, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Coenzyme Q10, Baobab, Grapeseed, Bilberry" but it's really vague about which products those ingredients belong to!

YES for saying you can use coconut oil for cleansing! I swear the times my skin was in its best condition were when I did oil cleansing.
Phoebe is gorge!!! I always wash my face in the sink not shower but my hair is tied up. If I do a night shower, I use a cleansing balm, wash it off, shower then my nighttime routine.
