I have a Kroger next to work and shop there almost every day. The fuel points are great and you get them buying anything, no just the pharmacy.

Kroger hasn't had a Free Friday item since COVID 😞

Kroger has a terrible selection of seafood these days anyway. They used to have quite a few options for frozen fish, now they only have a few. What happened ?

I haven't been to Kroger's since I moved to Florida in the late '80s. I lived about a mile from one in Ohio, so I could walk there if I had to.

@@BabbleTop I spent 31 of my first 35 years, living in Middletown, Ohio. From what I''ve found online, it has gone from a nice place, to most factories closed, a smaller population and a very high drug and crime use area. Al but one school that I attended has been torn down, because of the lower population, and there are a lot off dangerous, abandoned buildings all around town. It was a nice place to live, when I left, but there were no jobs in Electronics in the mid '80s, so I moved to find work. Kroger's, and A/P were the only grocery stores that I can remember around there, and they were always busy. The Kroger's at 'Engles Corner' (428 Oxford State Rd Middletown, OH 45044) was one of the first that was open 24/7. They were restocking the shelves, so you had to call out that you needed to check out, but it was handy since I worked night shift in a suburb of Cincinnati. That let me shop in a nearly empty store, on my way home from work.
Kroger's now offered home delivery in Florida, but I haven't tried it.

So they tell you never to buy a gift card at Kroger because they sell it at full price but then they tell you don't buy gas at full price and one of the ways to do it is to buy a gift card there for the extra fuel points??.
