@UnixGuy: I just wanted to tell you to thank you for your videos, work, and attitude, as I am looking to switch to my first cyber security job - I have been in IT for 12 years - and your videos kept me sane, there is so much nonsense in the Security "bubble". May God bless you!

I'm in a place where I had to decide to leave cybersecurity for later and start studying something short (just commerce and business school) and that will give me more chances to get out quicker of my current shi**tty job (especially the company) and start a stable and better one. It's just 3 semesters (I'm close to finishing the 1st) while I'm working full time. So it's stressful right now and I don't have time for anything else than working and studying. I think, it was a helpful video. Thank you very much for telling such non sugarcoated truth about our mind. Hope to get more videos about your journey to be more focused and productive.
Really great advice, I definitely struggle with having a negative dialogue towards myself. Even when I put in a couple hours of hard studying I still feel frustrated with myself like I am not doing enough. I think this may stem from me career changing and comparing myself to my peers who are farther along in their journey. Definitely something I need to be more self aware of and work on. Also in regards to staying focused for long periods I found adding in some sort of physical exercise can refocus my mind. When I find myself getting distracted I’ll knock out a set of pull ups or push ups and I am usually much more focused after.

Thank you for this video. This has been my major challenge. I wanna become a professional ethical hacker. But i'm constantly distracted with too many things to do. I always find myself leaving courses uncompleted. After watching this video, I'm making an effort to delete all social media app on my phone and focus.
keep going! Follow this roadmap for the fastest way to get there:

I’ve literally explained it in the video….
Does anyone know which movie is this 0:17 ?

The problem with me is my job has unpredictable schedules and because of that I’m all over the place mentally and it makes it very hard to schedule anything or have a life. What do you suggest?
my jobs is as unpredictable as they come. just block 1 to 1.5 hours per day for focused work, you’ll get alot done that way
Thanks I'll try that.@@UnixGuy
Oh a bit early, thank you for a comprehensive video!!
you mean early in the day for you?

I don’t have capacity to do one on one mentorships, you’ll find most of the information that you need in the videos (please watch them) and if you still require further help then I have a paid mentorship call (link in the about section of this youtube channel) 🙂
