This dude went to the finals in his eight year, he lost. He was the league MVP in year 9, they got swept in the first round. He stayed until finally in year 13, he won his chip. Not many players have that patience. That's real loyalty to the franchise. Not asking for a trade after signing a supermax because you already "gave your all" to the franchise like some players these days claim.
Lets not forget he did make alot of money and was born overseas.. those guys don’t do what american players do.. at least be understanding. The only humanly possible chances for Dirk to win more championships in thise years would have been to join a superteam, like joining the Lakers before the Pau trade or joining Boston before the Garnett trade.
