- Let's compare the DMR and the NXDN technology ! Which one have the best covered range when power and frequency are equals ? This is the NXDN 4800bps because its very narrow bandwidth (6.25 kHz) is much more immunized against the noise.
Using this technology is preferred when the area to cover is large.
I explain you why 6.25 kHz ultra narrow bandwidth technologies are better than 12.5 kHz bandwidth (like analog or DMR).
