During our last session, I noticed a few things that needed addressing, so I made some incredible upgrades using top-notch parts from Coggan Billet.

Dude im so jealous of the bash spot. And the thicker u go in the center diff will make the truck stand up more.
An man it’s a blessing this is about honestly , so blessed to have found it and it’s always quite which is amazing for my hobby and the videos , I know my flow about the area as well to give it a good testing out .
As you said to thin it will diff out terrible , to thick it will cause the truck to behave erratic is a balancing act for sure .

Hey Chris , excellent quality video, I’ve never seen the Hobao in action yet , looks race tuned. The jump and hairpin , it loved it . Great driving, wheelie’s look cool as . I will be trying the backflips on my Shogun next year . Upgrades n build, look tough 💯👌👊

Yeah trying to mix it up there with the jump and hair pin . As you say it most certainly loved both aspects .
As for the driving ah man I know that place very well and it’s easy to judge the corners .

It handles beautifully by the looks of it.
And it doesn't slap down hard of the jumps.
I know its not a high jump but with it being fairly low you would think it would chassis slap.
Must be good suspension set up. 👍👌

Yes as you say it does handle extremely well , I can’t wait for the dry months to really put it to the test .
Suspension on these are beautifully balanced and seem to allow all sorts including jumps .

What pinion size you running in that bro, thing's rapid, I'm thinking of purchasing one, are diffs easy enough to get into, without stripping screws, any lock tight problems? ❤🎉
Hey there buddy , I’m currently running a 20T pinion . All the diffs are easily workable and no lock tight issues as of yet . All working great so far it’s a quick little bigger for sure .

I've had my SSTE for a few years now. I made it a speed runner it's done 133mph 🤣 I bashed it on 6s for a year and done god knows how many 100+ mph passes and it's still on all the original drive train. Absolute tank 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 better than my kraton exb in every way. Very underrated RC the SSTE. Sweet video dude I'll be sure to catch any new ones you make 👍🏻👊🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Quite a lot 🤣 it's not aerodynamic at all so mostly power and a few custom bits to make things work. I've kept it an open wheel truggy so it won't go much faster. I've got the same sort of set you see in 200+mph cars so it's been a challenge. I've uploaded a quick vid for ya to watch 👍🏻

I just ordered one i have a few questions. What weight oils are you running in the diffs and is this on 4s power ? How fast would you estimate it runs with 20 t pinion on 4s

Ok. So weights I used in it are
Front 60k
Middle 250k
Rear 30k
The drive train are awesome in these .
As for the speed I’m just about to doing some speed tests on my trucks so I’ll be able to let you know soon .
I’m going to get about 50/55 ish on 4s
