its amazing how many people confuse power strips with surge protectors. Not all power strips are surge protected. Its very important that people know that. What I cant figure out is why I cant find any smart plugs or outlets that are surge protected, especially since ground fault interrupter protected outlets are required by code in a kitchen or bathroom.
