It happens brother. To fall is human. To remain fallen is demonic. I am certain our Lady, Coredemptrix, Mediatrix and Advocate will give you the grace to stand. Cast yourself upon her feet and pray for her to put fire in your soul. Ask St. Augustine, St. Francis, St. Clare, St. Colette, St. Catherine of Siena and St. Rose of Lima to set you aflame. Remember- “Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet believe.” Cry to God in the darkness and lay hold of him by love and repentance. He is not brought near by thinking, but by loving. You are surrounded by saints just waiting to set your heart aflame. Repentant praise of God will accomplish much, acknowledging your weakness and frailty. Remember also, mortal sins are supported by venial sins, and venial sins by imperfections. Confess the mortal sin, and immediately begin fighting it by fighting the venial sins that support it. This has a two-fold effect of undermining the foundation the mortal sin is built upon, and it keeps your mind off it. You can get to the point where you do not sin mortally or even venially. That will mark the end of the late purgative way and you can be entering into the prayer of simplicity. With resolution, and God’s grace, you could be there in 6 months. If you are daring and resolved!
Every bead is a sin big or small that i am trying to purify. It lifts and holds you to finish and soon you find you won't want to stop. I never appreciated the rosary as much til I understood it was helping me build a rope ladder to heaven. Persevere...we are only here for a short time. You got this and Mary's got you.
There is not a chance that I could ever be or blessed with that perseverance, I am a caregiver. Yet, there is zero probability I would be in a battle such as these incredible men!

Movement is medicine, brother. Exercise (even if it is just walking), adjust your diet, and turn to short devotions. Be patient and persevere.
