Cards that come out with gamestop stamp but instead had the set stamp is usually from the UK like the dragonite. Also the same with the umbreon from obsidian flames. Often stores in UK like GAME distribute it.
Only reason Silver Tempest isn't sold out yet is because it's limited to 4 boxes per order instead of the typical 6. Six would give you a sealed case, but 4 is just loose boxes.
ive always went by the booster boxes since 2012, for the last 2 year i went by the cases for whole sword and shield and scarlet violet and honestly its when the fun was lost for me, cases are lame they are brown ugly not fun
The chase cards from Celebrations are going to explode, especially the Shining Magikarp. The PSA 10s on EBAY are still under $75. There are only 3,800 in the pop report, and that's after all these years. It's the hardest card to pull from the classic set, by far. They are starting to move up, and I expect them to hit $100 by summer and $150 by the end of 2024. Supply is drying up for the 10s and now the 9s are starting to sell. Buyouts in Celebrations are already starting. You can see it in the prices and activity.💰💰💰
That shiny goldfish was the hardest card to pull I can definitely see it taking off one day based or pull rates or population in PSA 10s. Not gonna lie I might buy one just because they are so cheap for the moment
@@Sugafr33 I hope you Celebration fans are right and it starts to move up. But I have not seen a scrap of evidence that tells me anything Celebrations is moving up. We have cards from Pokemon Go moving up! But nothing from Celebrations. Maybe the 30 year anniversary gets this thing moving. I don’t know what it will take
I grade alot of cards. Theres a reason there isnt alot of magicarps graded. The margin is awful after grading, fees, and shipping. You can get the same price as the magicarp as you can for a venusaur or blastoise, so people obviously lean towards the cheaper singles. If the price went to 150 in a 10, pops would start growing. I bought alot of sealed celebrations. The most expenaive card is less than the etb, thats the problem. No one has incentive to open it. It just goes back and forth sealed between sealed collectors and investors. Im leaning towards offloading my case of PC etbs. Prices are actually falling on ebay. Most products are still near msrp after 3 years.
@@NorthwoodsTCG true, i actually have 3 of this exact art, celebration psa10, LC reverse psa7 and 1st ed base psa 8, the lc reverse is actually the only one that i like *in the reprints
Just wait until the 30 anniversary. Everyone thought it was going to be generations but generation didn't do well till the boom. Even in 2019 it was still available all over the place.
i love how you're getting the complete opposite of what I'm snagging :D evo skies etbs definitely undervalued tho compared to booster box if i didn't have a bunch of those i'd stock up on more
Agree but they are still going up nicely because price per pack keeps rising which is going to draw the etbs up naturally. I agree the booster boxes will continue to drive a premium compared to everything else.
@@NorthwoodsTCGabsolutely. I also think investments are things you ‘don’t look at’ - singles (even dupes) - we get a lot of enjoyment. Seems more collector endorphins

Well that's awesome to know, thank you so much for this! I'm going to pin this for others to see as well!

That's why I'd do both. I purchase booster boxes for my shelf and cases for the storage unit 🙃
Yes this is true and drives me crazy 🤪 personally!
The secret rare leg birds from BS are underrated af and the best looking gold textured cards by miles.
I 💯 agree with your statement. I have multiples of each and just keep holding them because they are awesome cards!
@@NorthwoodsTCG and they’re just as hard to hit as some alt arts…
Yes they are!

I don’t see anything of what you’re talking about happening right now. But I hope it’s true. Everything Celebrations has been a dog!
@@andyhale3467 We are at the launch point now. If you wait until prices are any higher, it will be too late to buy.

Dude, you totally blew my mind with that stamped Dragonite. Thank you!! Literally hopped on eBay to check these out!
I was just searching for stamped promos and I found this one and I couldn't find any detail on it so I purchased some lol
I think since they are so rare they will be great in the future!
Stocked up evolving skies etbs at $69 for walmart, gt collectibles. Made a video about it too
Yes I was buying them right from Walmart at $44 eachba year ago. I am still grabbing them now.
evolutions and celebrations really proves that peoples arent too much into the reprint of that base zard.
I'm not into the reprint zard but I also never liked base set 2 because it was all reprints. Reprints are just laziness and cheapness on TPCI

celebrations ngl was a surprise to me i thought it would perform so much better

If you are investing on this items… why you didn’t show them on camera?
Because it clusters up the video, it's that simple.
Build and battle kits. They have awesome promos with stamp
Yes, but the dragonite didn't come from those. First place I looked 😆

its because the bb have a premium as everyone want the booster and doesnt give a fuck about etbs
I think everyone is all over the place right now which isn't a bad thing. It means the market is doing great.

Great analysis of singles. Hard to call them investments but great collection pickups 🛻 All unique cards great for a collection or trade binder.
The diffrence between investing in single and collecting singles is intent 😆

stay far away from those overfloodedd pop singles from sword and shield and u should be fine.
