I'm sure Jenny will be very happy for the beautiful card. I just love it when you sit and tell things from your life like the lunch and spa treatment with your daughter and grandchild.
I think it's your little stories that make me hook on you, but then you make wonderful cards too. So you could say that I get two things in one package. Insperation and a little glimpse of another person's life. I love to collect people as I say when we travel and meet new people. Things I have, but you can never get too many new people in your life
Thanks so much, I sometimes wonder what folk think of my 'asides' and incidental tales, but I think it's probably better than canned music when I'm doing something either a little tedious or repetitive. Nature abhors a vacuum so I fill those moments with my chatter! Thanks for your feedback!❤️❤️❤️

The mystery unravelled 🙂. A very beautiful card Chris. I also use my Cricut to make some words and numbers that I don't have dies for. Very handy.

A beautiful card and once again, thanks for the ideas. Like you, I haven't used my Silhouette much for letters because of that cut edge look, but what a simple solution to round them with a ball tool!
l also give a box of cards to my female family and friends for birthdays. We are at a stage of life where we don't need more material 'things', but cards always come in handy. I was a tad taken aback though when one of my sister-in-laws, expecting the cards, asked if she could have more 'Sympathy ' cards in the mix!
Perhaps I need to make more multi-occasion type cards that I can then put various sentiments on, as needed..?

I agree that in fact not all cards need sentiments. It's the personal handlewritten message inside a card which conveys much more than any sentiment on the front could.❤️

Thanks for charging a lovely card. Can i give you a tip: when you use tape, put it down to start it, and then lift of the bacing paper and your foam tape should bend very easy around as you hold it and guide it down to the paper. Love from Irene in Norway, Hamar 😊

A beautiful card for your friend's 90th birthday Chrissie and I love the large numbers with the gold background and likewise her name which stand out brilliantly, and the little added hearts randomly placed over the background are so pretty. The sweet flowers cut from the piece of card with added texture paste and the gorgeous blue Luscious powders look wonderful. Glad you enjoyed your spa day treat and then lunch with your daughter and granddaughter too, sounds as though it was just what you needed. x

Hello Lindy, I'm glad you like my videos, I'm no great expert on the electronic cutter. I actually have a Portrait which is the baby of the family, anything new that I want to do with that, I usually have to look for a tutorial on TH-cam. I don't think I would be a great help as others demonstrate so well.
If it's not too much trouble, could you show us how you made the "Jenny" on your electronic cutter? I have one that I've barely used because I never had the time to learn it. Thank you for all of you helpful tips!

I love those numbers. I suppose you need a machine to get the offset bit.
The numbers are in New Times Roman font, with a machine you can make them whatever size you want and of course do the offset layer.
Beautiful birthday card and so personal. I'm sure Jenny will love the box of handmade cards. I have a Falling Hearts background die but it's by Tim Holtz and the hearts are very different. I always want to save the hearts that fall out but I don't usually save small packaging which is what I would probably use to store them in. I hope you and your friends have/had a lovely lunch together celebrating your special anniversaries AND Jenny's birthday. Cheers!

What a beautiful card to receive on a special birthday. I've got similar flower dies from Brittania dies available through pink frog crafts and cards. They do a range of different ones. I love your idea of luscious powder on laminate pouches but what about acetate. I've recently bought the powders and will give it a go 😊
Acetate is fine, the laminator pockets cut a little more easily in the die cutting machine. Use what you have!

Sounds like you had a wonderful day. I too love spending a day with "the girls" in our family. We made a new tradition a couple of Christmas ago of going to a Wreath making workshop together, which was such fun. We are delighted to have found something we can do in the spring this year as well - so I am looking forward to that.
