From one professional to another. Those clamps are not junk, these things commonly last 20 + years and still retain their clamping strength. These are without a doubt far better than your conventional type clamp.

2001 ram 1500, I was driving yesterday (no ac or heat on). Heard a POP from passenger floorboard area then white smoke started coming out the center vents. Now every time I warm truck up for 10 min white smoke comes out. Is this the heater core?

Did you keep the longer version of this video? You didn’t show specifically what I needed and was hoping to see.

breaking out the ol 98 laramie 318 for the winter, lost her heat while sitting and im too broke to pay a shop $300+ to swap it for me

Blend door passenger side floor right above the floor hump? It brakes at the hvac actuator sometimes and you can remove it and flip it by hand

@@FordBossMe might look into that but this is my 3rd gen 2 dodge and all 3 had their heater cores go out, and both my stepdad's durangos lost their heater cores too, even if its not bad quite yet its a good idea to swap it now

Spring clamps will always be superior to worm clamps…

Thanks for sharing, I'm afraid I'm going to have tackle this on my 99 sport 1500.

@Ford Boss Me did you have to do anything to the air bag system before doing this, and as far as clamping your inlet and outlet hose to firewall to prevent excess coolant escaping, was that the two handle clamps you used I take it? You also probably burped the system after completion?
