And the price is unknown? How is it possible to unveil a new product and not have a price 😂

We need a better demo of the same object, with camera slowly moving from side to side. Currently it appears as the objects in the back are unnaturally blurred, and you can't clearly see sides of the object in focus. It is like a dozen of 2D images one on top of another, which is far from holography.

Do I need to sell one Bithereum to afford one?

We had the smaller screen and the stepping between angles was very noticeable , also extreme depth of field was used to hide the stepping of each layer in perspective so it was not viable for anything other then tiny objects that might naturally have that level of depth of field.
And lastly, performance was terrible via unreal, as what it actually tries to stream to the monitor is all the perspective angles on to a single picture, so even if they say 8k or 4K, it’s actually that number divided by the number of perspective angle steps/layers you want. So best we could get was 720p or less in visual quality..
Cool tech, but they need to go into a lot of detail and showcase on what they’ve actually improved (if anything, since the original) as we were initially dreaming this tech could one day replace wall screens and show cars at design reviews. But it’s a long way off

Still really expensive, still overly focused on enterprise. Sadly would've in a smaller size have been a very interesting monitor (even 'that one' competitor can't get price right for mass adoption, like what happened to LCD->LED->???)

Well looks like you're in luck, they just announced a smaller 16" version as well. Edit: nvm it's $3000 😬
