  • Some interior and exterior images of the RMS Titanic wreck, which was discovered in 1985. Most of these images are from expeditions from the early 2000s. The wreck is in a large debris field that rests in about 12,600 ft (3,840m) of water. Some of the images contain before/after shots using CGI when necessary. Some photos also contain general information about Titanic.

For me the lamp still plugged into the 1912 power strip and the Medicine bottle still on the shelf. It sadly conveys the the human spirit connection of the wreck after so many years.

For me the most chilling and horrific footage is not on this video but the old film of the Ship leaving port and everybody on board waving goodbye to those on the dock. Anticipating a cruise of a lifetime- Yet it’s all about to come to an historic and tragic end.
Every video and story associated with the Titanic I still find myself practically breathless and horrified and extremely saddened.

Those people made it to their destination as that is actually Titanic's sister ship "Olympic" leaving dock. The only actual verified film of the Titanic was taken as she was at the Thompson Graving Dock in Belfast. Just as many photo that claim to be the Titanic are also of the Olympic as White Star was going to photograph the ship when it reached New York. One of the only sets of REAL photos of the Titanic were taken by the Jesuit priest Father Francis Browne and Kate Odell who were passengers on the Titanic from Southampton and debarked from the ship at Queenstown, Ireland before she started her transatlantic crossing. Father Browne took dozens of photos of Titanic, its crew , passengers and rooms, and they can be viewed online. The Belfast film can be viewed here on TH-cam. As a side note Odell and her family left Titanic to tour Ireland, and Father Browne was supposed to go all the way to New York on the ship but received a message from his superior telling him to return. Check out the video on TH-cam: A Lucky Escape from the Titanic -- The Titanic Photographs by Father Browne.

So work this out, a passenger liner largest of its kind sails into known ice berg locations at FULL AHEAD SPEED ! While another ship, the SS Californian sits idle inside 10 miles from Titanic during the sinking. The RMS Carpathia was 57 odd Nm away 2 hours of navigation through cold ice berg waters. The approximate time it took for the RMS Titanic (RMS - Royal Mail Ship) was also inside 2 hours.

If you are wondering why does third class get a hospital and not the first & second class, this is because they believe the third class was the most likely to carry disease, so they would treat them. First & Second Class could fend for themselves
