I would like to see an engine swap video or an engine build up video on a Samurai. That would be cool.

Non rust cars are cheapest projects. Really like to see a 1.9TDI swap.

Put a bronco coil spring front suspension. That's what I hope to do at some point.

Im sure there was a few things you missed like the hangers grease ect but how many hours did you put in, or what would you value the labor at?
Love the budget builds. A few months ago i stuck the front axle out of my Sami Under my Sidekick "SPORT" due to cv axles breaking. Im getting ready to stick some toyota BJ60 9.5 inch axles inder the sami. Want to go with air shocks but the cost of the whole link setup is a bit much when it can be done for 1/10th the cost with leafs. Anyway love the content , thanks for taking the time to explain and show all the angles.

Yea. What about the hours of labor?

Your right also forgot gear oil, anti freeze, brake fluid. I even had to put gas in it lol.
If I was building this for a customer it would be $70 a hour. I have a lot of hours into it. I didn’t even keep track.

Let's say you sell it 5-6 k. Go and buy a side by side for that price . If it's a new one gonna be underpowered Chinese junk that breaks all time and hard find parts for if u can even find parts for. If u get sxs around 5k name brand usually getting some one else junk there tired working on. But there are good buys out there have search hard and be ready go up for sell. But back to sami 4500-6000$ all newish rebuilt drive train to run woods hunt , ride can't go wrong my opinion plus get plenty of parts. Everywhere main thing because any of um will and they will break parts here there. Run to local auto parts store or salvage yards good to go sometimes neighbors has sami part's. Do that with Amazon sxs or tractor supply sxs, even Cabela's and Lowe's stuff look good 8000-12000$ they should hard to get part's though. My zero cents n mix and yes I have 88 Sam. Love it.

Fenders butchered ….hard to watch this build for me….I guess I was expecting a “restoration” of the Suzuki instead of a demolition derby special.

Lol. Don’t get me wrong I wanted to make
It nice again. But not gonna put 100 of hours into a rig that will only be wheeled. An the guy who is buying it isn’t gonna pay me $100 a hour to do all that work. He wanted it cheap as possible.

Makes sense not to waste your time. The restoration of the Golden Nugget Suzuki ran over $82k. But the revenue that build brought into at least 3-4 TH-camrs made the investment well worth it and grow their channels.

It's a budget build not a restoration. Awesome job. 🤘🏼
