S2 is actually pretty dope. You aren't doing it for the auto attack but for the ridiculously spammable nuke. Warfarin also pairs nicely because of her SP refund mechanic. Put them in a lane alone and eat entire crowds, profit.
She can still attack aerial enemies while skill is active as well. Since ground enemies are slowed she might attack aerial if they're closer. That might be rare, but it's probably worth mentioning.
I pull for her because i find all her skills pretty fun to use(I'm a bite tired of using the same skill of some operator) and love her design she's my second favorite character(first one is Gavial :D)
Had about 150 pulls saved. Spent them all and then some to get Qiubai. Yeah I probably gave up one or two limited characters because of it… but Qiubai’s design is so top tier and I like how she plays on top of that, that not doing all I could to get her wasn’t an option! Lost the 50/50 5 times and got her on the 6th… so that was painful! But been loving her so far, so still worth!

Already gave her lvl 90 S3M3 as soon as I got her. She's been doing quite nicely in my roster, although I'll warn that she wouldn't be able to fight the wooden seals in the second special stage in the event (the ones with the pre-selected operators) without support.
ethan with his module is also a great synergy, as it slows all enemies in his attack range by default, and if you place him right in front of qiubai, it will exactly cover her attack range during S3
Wrong slow, he and manticore do MV. Sspd. D. not slow, you need slow as givien by decell/inders, May, a bit by chain casters and a few others to have any effect, In any case, Quibys art's damage is a bit shit outside of her skill 3, so something like Earth Spirit skill 2 is p[lent.
Shes a walking Manhua protagonist. I fkin love her. I was aiming for Winchussy but goddamn her 6th pull spook was so worth it I'd do brutal Dual Cultivation with her anytime, anywhere.
I skipped her.... and just got her throwing all my money away to get Mylnar... On a Mylnar/Blemi banner, I got Qiubai and Weedy.... I don't know what to feel about it....

The Qiubai Suzuran combo get even further by adding stainless, which get activated by Qiubai really quickly, and you get 300k damage per cycle. Granted the startup time is also insanely long, so this is more like a toy, Reed Alter + Surtr + Taxes Alter is where it is at.
She's a lot of fun in IS. Not exactly a carry, but S1 and S3 work well. Killed the Knight dude before destroying all blocks with her at the choke point flanked by Jaye, backed up by Horn, and Reed2 + Whisperain support (also the broken therapist relic) Im waiting for a run when i can get her, Highmore, and Stainless.
First thought about skipping, then tried to get Wind Chimes and did around 46-48 pulls without noticing. Qiubai came and I was surprisingly so glad to see her. But still no Wind Chimes :(
1 year later and it seems yii was right. Qiubai is generally regarded in most circles as a solid meta unit as one of the highest sources of arts damage from a melee tile, that works amazingly with logos in an ifrit lane to shred res. Ifrit lane with logos qiubai, suzuran, reed alter, and saria S3 deals a bajiblion damage to even enemies with 90 res. (Although this doesnt come up often except in SSS or RA2)
MH Collab banner soon. I did my 10-pull guarantee pity on Quibai, got my Swire dupe, and went on with my life. She's not broken or super essential in most situations so not having her won't hurt either.
this last 2 event really remind me with an old Chinese novel called "Legend of Condor Heroes" that my Grandpa told me when i was still a kid, the main character's martial art is called "18 Palm Subduing Dragon" and he was a hero who defend Xiangyang castle from Mongol. Almost have similar image with Chongyue isn't it? not to mention that there's also a legendary swordman called Dugu Qiubai too. after i got Chongyue, i really hope to get Quibai too for this reason, but after 60 pull i still don't get her...
I got it with 1 ticket (lucky lol), but I was always worried about whether it would evolve or not, especially because many said it would be a waste of resources for nothing. Fortunately I have Ethan, Pudding, Indigo E2, Ling E1, I'll probably put the Frostleaf/Podenco E2 too, to test it.
Sounds like her S1 is quite good in the integrated strategies where you can get a decent amount of aspd buffs. I know Gnosis perma freezes with high enough aspd, and Goldenglow is always good with more aspd, but Qiubai's S1 is something I overlooked.
I did actually pull for her tbh. Did a 10 pull to see where the vernal winds would blow me. I got a 6 star and was hyped. Then i saw 2 six stars and was practically filling my pants.....then it was a rosa and exu dupe......sadge.
She look like another unit that could work with Stainless (which seems to be my recent criterium as to whether or not promote unit) but I'm still on the fence on pulling her. I'm already skipping Irene to save as much pulls for Typhon as possible... well, I guess I'll try some from support and then make a decision.
She is very good with Stainless. S3 goes very well with his turrets, Turrets give her smth to constantly hit so she can lock down a lane with S2 and Stainless S2 can make her S1 almost perma bind
She is. I pulled her specifically because of the synergy with Stainless. She mans his turrets all by herself with that S3 up while still getting her own hits in. It is particularly deadly when bursting a chonky elite or boss.
Pulled one tenpull for her cause the next banner I´m really interested in is the lonetrail one, got her immediatly. Pretty happy with that since I do not really have any other lord except Lappland, so to me she was a bit more appealing then Yato alter in filling niches I´m lacking.

Qiubai is less objectively bad and more has terrible timing. Her banner is coming between two high profile limiteds, one of whom is highly collectible (Chongyue) and one is just super strong (and as a collab unit, a one-time offer). And she shares the banner with two terrible units. Then there’s being a 6* Lord guard. She’s directly competing with Lappy and Silverash, two popular, powerful units most people already built, both of whom also being massive utility on top of their damage (silence for Lappy, redeploy/anti-invis for SA). If she landed between two dead weeks, she’d be seen as a decent unit. Instead, she’s completely overshadowed by K x Yato.
Agreed. As an average unit, her banner timing and accompanying 5star is a huge deal breaker. Although, i would argue that even if she is the only 6star for a whole month nobody would ever pull for her for meta reason. Most people i have seen pulling for her are doing it for her good art or fun factor. I myself spend some 10+ pulls for her because i got roped by this video and a lot of guilty trap post on Reddit, but decided to stop after 2 5star because i want new yato-noir and actually got interested to pull for ines. I have good enough damage dealer, and ethan is a superb binder, so qiubai doesn't have much of a value for me.
i DON'T want to skip Quibai, specially beign someone who still does not have an actually strong lord guard (i started playing this year) But she's coming right before a character that not only is not coming back ever again but is also ridiculously strong and versatile, as a f2p, what else could i do?
I have a lot of fun with Qiubai on IS3. Ngl, using her with 2 aspd collectibles made it easier (and funnier) for me to kill Walmart Frostnova and Highmore. XD
I got her in 30 with a bunch of 5 stars but no Wind Chimes. Chimes doesn't seem amazing gameplay wise but she did have a cool look. As for Quibai, I'm glad her S2 is good because she is staying at E1 for a while. I just spent a fortune on Ling and Nightingale so I'm materially broke again. Also looks like I might need to E2 Suzuran eventually. The LMD grind never ends.
yeah, crusher archetype is so garbage atm. the only way to have fun with it is on IS2 and IS3 with relic otherwise they are practically have no use in general. well lets just wait when they finally released 6 star and finally "fixed" the archetype, just like how they fixed brawler with mountain well sorta

I could get her but i dont have the materials to max her out and wont have them for a while, i recently got eyja and i have to get her at m6 and other 5* have to be leveled up as well, so rolling and then no using her is the same as not having rolled her, might as well save for Yato.
I rolled and got a Silver Ash spook sadly. No qiubai for me. Unfortunate cause I really like her overall, her being good is just a plus. It's ok though, I didn't have silver ash. I'll get qiubai later hopefully...
I feel like s2 is better than your first impressions of it is, strong slow with big range along a lane with decent burst and low cooldown can be super useful and gives her her own niche compared to other lords I feel, where her s3 I kind of always will have to ask myself "okay cool, but why not just use mlynar or silverash instead?"
If you REALLY need to slow a wave of enemies in their tracks, use ethan instead. And use some AoE operator to do the damage. Those 8 seconds gap (10x1,3s minus 5 second slow) for the 10sp charging is enough to let any slowed mobs to reach her.
It absolutely is, the damage for the cycle time is just massive particularly with any form of SP battery supporting it, it's also true AOE which lets her clear spam enemies very effectively as well. S1 is good too, but S2 is by no means bad she's one of those operators where all her skills feel quite good for different things. I actually have her at M9. Well her S3 kind of shits on poor Silverash honestly, even without a a slower the fact it's arts damage and the compounding attack speed tends to let's it chew through stuff Silverash would barely scratch (with slow support you can be looking at like Surtr levels of multi-target arts damage). Mlynar is generally a better nuker, but has the issue of being ONLY a nuker. Quibai can you know actually attack shit off cooldown and block enemies while still being able to nuke down what you need her too.
I pulled for her because i like both her design and skills and i already have her s3m3, when paired with Ethan/indigo/robin/dorothy/glacus/angelina she has pretty consistent damage when offskill and with her skill active she deals pretty high damage. I also pulled because i hate Yato Alter and i don't want her.

This, that nuke spam will eat up all elites. Very good laneholding CC skill with extended range. Defo her best general use skill

I got it with 1 ticket (lucky lol), but I was always worried about whether it would evolve or not, especially because many said it would be a waste of resources for nothing. Fortunately I have Ethan, Pudding, Indigo E2, Ling E1, I'll probably put the Frostleaf/Podenco E2 too, to test it.

Sounds like her S1 is quite good in the integrated strategies where you can get a decent amount of aspd buffs. I know Gnosis perma freezes with high enough aspd, and Goldenglow is always good with more aspd, but Qiubai's S1 is something I overlooked.
I feel compelled to point out that if you put Ethan in front of qiubai his range completely overlaps with her S3
I did actually pull for her tbh. Did a 10 pull to see where the vernal winds would blow me. I got a 6 star and was hyped. Then i saw 2 six stars and was practically filling my pants.....then it was a rosa and exu dupe......sadge.

She look like another unit that could work with Stainless (which seems to be my recent criterium as to whether or not promote unit) but I'm still on the fence on pulling her.
I'm already skipping Irene to save as much pulls for Typhon as possible... well, I guess I'll try some from support and then make a decision.
She is very good with Stainless. S3 goes very well with his turrets, Turrets give her smth to constantly hit so she can lock down a lane with S2 and Stainless S2 can make her S1 almost perma bind
She is. I pulled her specifically because of the synergy with Stainless. She mans his turrets all by herself with that S3 up while still getting her own hits in. It is particularly deadly when bursting a chonky elite or boss.
Instant E2 lvl 90 and S3M3. She gives me more reasons to bring out Angelina and Suzuran which is awesome.

Pulled one tenpull for her cause the next banner I´m really interested in is the lonetrail one, got her immediatly. Pretty happy with that since I do not really have any other lord except Lappland, so to me she was a bit more appealing then Yato alter in filling niches I´m lacking.
I pulled Qiubai because my account is waifu-only and I only had Lappland and Frostleaf as ranged guards until now.

Qiubai is less objectively bad and more has terrible timing.
Her banner is coming between two high profile limiteds, one of whom is highly collectible (Chongyue) and one is just super strong (and as a collab unit, a one-time offer). And she shares the banner with two terrible units.
Then there’s being a 6* Lord guard. She’s directly competing with Lappy and Silverash, two popular, powerful units most people already built, both of whom also being massive utility on top of their damage (silence for Lappy, redeploy/anti-invis for SA).
If she landed between two dead weeks, she’d be seen as a decent unit. Instead, she’s completely overshadowed by K x Yato.
Agreed. As an average unit, her banner timing and accompanying 5star is a huge deal breaker.
Although, i would argue that even if she is the only 6star for a whole month nobody would ever pull for her for meta reason. Most people i have seen pulling for her are doing it for her good art or fun factor.
I myself spend some 10+ pulls for her because i got roped by this video and a lot of guilty trap post on Reddit, but decided to stop after 2 5star because i want new yato-noir and actually got interested to pull for ines.
I have good enough damage dealer, and ethan is a superb binder, so qiubai doesn't have much of a value for me.
i DON'T want to skip Quibai, specially beign someone who still does not have an actually strong lord guard (i started playing this year) But she's coming right before a character that not only is not coming back ever again but is also ridiculously strong and versatile, as a f2p, what else could i do?

I have a lot of fun with Qiubai on IS3. Ngl, using her with 2 aspd collectibles made it easier (and funnier) for me to kill Walmart Frostnova and Highmore. XD

I got her in 30 with a bunch of 5 stars but no Wind Chimes. Chimes doesn't seem amazing gameplay wise but she did have a cool look. As for Quibai, I'm glad her S2 is good because she is staying at E1 for a while. I just spent a fortune on Ling and Nightingale so I'm materially broke again. Also looks like I might need to E2 Suzuran eventually. The LMD grind never ends.
yeah, crusher archetype is so garbage atm. the only way to have fun with it is on IS2 and IS3 with relic otherwise they are practically have no use in general.

I could get her but i dont have the materials to max her out and wont have them for a while, i recently got eyja and i have to get her at m6 and other 5* have to be leveled up as well, so rolling and then no using her is the same as not having rolled her, might as well save for Yato.
I rolled and got a Silver Ash spook sadly. No qiubai for me. Unfortunate cause I really like her overall, her being good is just a plus. It's ok though, I didn't have silver ash. I'll get qiubai later hopefully...
I feel like s2 is better than your first impressions of it is, strong slow with big range along a lane with decent burst and low cooldown can be super useful and gives her her own niche compared to other lords I feel, where her s3 I kind of always will have to ask myself "okay cool, but why not just use mlynar or silverash instead?"
Probably for burst damage CC + staying power. SilverAsh is helidrop and Mlynar has less downtime DPS if any.
If you REALLY need to slow a wave of enemies in their tracks, use ethan instead. And use some AoE operator to do the damage.
Those 8 seconds gap (10x1,3s minus 5 second slow) for the 10sp charging is enough to let any slowed mobs to reach her.
It absolutely is, the damage for the cycle time is just massive particularly with any form of SP battery supporting it, it's also true AOE which lets her clear spam enemies very effectively as well. S1 is good too, but S2 is by no means bad she's one of those operators where all her skills feel quite good for different things. I actually have her at M9.
Well her S3 kind of shits on poor Silverash honestly, even without a a slower the fact it's arts damage and the compounding attack speed tends to let's it chew through stuff Silverash would barely scratch (with slow support you can be looking at like Surtr levels of multi-target arts damage). Mlynar is generally a better nuker, but has the issue of being ONLY a nuker. Quibai can you know actually attack shit off cooldown and block enemies while still being able to nuke down what you need her too.

I pulled for her because i like both her design and skills and i already have her s3m3, when paired with Ethan/indigo/robin/dorothy/glacus/angelina she has pretty consistent damage when offskill and with her skill active she deals pretty high damage.
I also pulled because i hate Yato Alter and i don't want her.
