lot of Leased tenants are cheated by owners | Please file PIL in civil court to bring new Laws that make Lease agreements should be registered in sub registered office (Compulsory lease agreement registration should be done | if owner refused to do registration of lease agreement then owners should be fined double of the lease amount) act | stamp duty should be within 1000/- per 10 Lakh rupees | just like a marriage registration is compulsory in sub registration they charge only 500 rupees for registration.

It is really shocking to hear thousands of illegal site have been formed in reserved areas like gomala, govt lands st/st lands etc and are being sold . Much more shocking is how all these illegal layout formation has not come to the notice of the government and concerned authorities? When such datas are available why Government/concerned authorities are sitting quite on this ? What is the action from the government on these illegal sites and punishment to those developers who have/are cheated/ cheating the public? Is there any action plan from the government to stop formation of such illegal sites in future?
The concerned authorities must punish those responsible for forming illegal layouts and not the gullible buyers who have spent their life savings to buy these sites. The sub-registrars should be advised not to allow sale deeds between the land developers of unauthorized layouts and the buyers. RERA Karnataka is expected to keep an eye on illegal layouts but despite informing them about such layouts, nothing has been done. Many land developers issue advertisements in newspapers on the weekend to sell sites in illegal layouts. RERA Karnataka must act tough on such illegal layouts.
