I do as well. At least until I have Jeskai Ascendancy in play and cast a handful of spells and turn her in to Kaiju Elsha, Destroyer of Worlds. Rogue's Passage is your friend.
If you want to improve this deck a lot, a card I see that could help a ton would be Jhoira, weatherlight captain. It’s only like $1-$2 and a great card draw engine

They both do nearly the same thing they're just cheaper mana cost and force you to discard on top of the draw. You probably don't want to take out too many non creatures for creatures because that would increase your chances of whiffing on Elsha's ability to cast things from the top.
The older I get, I realize that I don't have any time to play magic in person. This is the budget I stick to. It's still a blast if and when I get to play paper. I really like this deck mitch, thanks!
Elsha is my primary Commander deck, so this is a fun video for me. I am definitely going to build your deck as an alternate to my tuned deck (maybe the version with the upgrades). It is a very different concept from my Spellslinger Elsha deck, and it looks really fun to play. Great video!

I'm ruuning a Melek, Izzet Paragon Deck and I use a nice deck setting combo to get tons of value: Nezahal, Primal Tide, Experimental Frenzy and Library of Leng. Whenever I discard a card, library of leng allows me to instead put it on top of my library, Nezahal is my draw and discard enabler to work off of library, and Experimental Frenzy allows me to just play through any card on top of my deck without having to care which card type it is.
I have a Kykar deck I built based on Mitch's deck that I enjoy quite a bit. It's got a bunch of Anthem effects and trys to use the Spirit tokens as attackers instead of just saccing them for mana. It can get pretty scary if I can land and keep a bunch of Anthems and Spirits together.
One of my favorite decks right now is Elsha. She's one of my cEDH options so obviously the budget is a lot higher than this deck but the core principal of "play a bunch of stuff then win" is still there. She's a fantastic turd polisher machine. Takes otherwise unplayable crap and makes it deadly, so you can do cEDH on a much tighter budget than normal.
These 10 dollar decks are amazing. Best way to have fun on a budget! I hope to get some of these commanders signed by you one day at a magic fest or commander fest!
I finally got to try and play this deck last night in a 3 player game in my play group against an Oketra and Nezahul deck, and it very quickly turned into me just playing solitaire for each turn. I've watched the video a few times and feel like that was just a fluke, but my friends aren't too keen on letting me try the deck again.
I was super excited when I saw Elsha previewed! I built my deck in more of a spellslinger style with a side of enchantments, but I definitely like this build of Elsha, too.
Shambling suit can work well in this list as it can get tall. Slag fiend can also fot if you notice you are losing lots of artifacts through playtest. Mystic forge can be another upgrade card incase the commander is being locked out of play.
If you have a sensei's divining top and a magic mirror or something like it with something that reduces artifact costs by 1 you can draw a crap ton of cards
I think artful dodge would be a great card to put in this deck. It only cost one blue mana and it gives target creature unblock able until end of turn. It also has flashbacks and the flashback cost is only one blue mana as well. And the card is only $0.25
My friend runs this deck, the only three cards that he uses to make it $50 are isochron reversal combo and divining top! even though he can use his entire deck in one turn with those cards and hit us for infinite combat damage, its fairly easy to shut down a deck like his
Well I have the precon with Elsha and I found three of the cards you mentioned in the video in my small collection, from the eldraine prerelease and from the bin where people put their draft chaff at my LGS. I should try to build this deck. Might be a little more expensive to build here, but I can probably trade for a lot of it.
This looks super similar to my budget jhoira build. I also temporal fissured like 10 lands to my friends hand while he was playing riku. Most satisfying scoop ever (he plays strip lock azusa).
I love this deck, but I think it would be improved by some vehicles. They are non creatures, so you can cast them of the top of your deck, also, because of our Commanders prowess, it won't be hard to get her to a bid enough power to crew! Plus, you can use your golem token as well! Also, some of these vehicles can make tokens, and use mana to crew instead of creatures! But, what types of vehicles? Here are a few that really stick out to me. Peace Walker colossus Parhelion II Mobile Garrison (untap you creatures after you crew them, or untap your mana rocks!) Also, there is this artifact called predator flagship, that can work as removal, and give our commander flying! I think that's all I have to say right now, so thanks for reading this far!
You know for some more reasonable upgrade I think putting in mind's desire, empty the warrens, and grapeshot could be good. Also putting in volcanic awakening could be pretty good. Also just to let you know I am thinking putting in grapeshot because it can do a lot of damage and kill creatures. I also would think some more disruption would be good.
If you're storming off, Chandra's Ignition seems like a more reliable finisher since you only need to cast 40 noncreature spells to have lethal on most boards and with the amount of bounce you have, it should be easy to reach that. It's $3, but it should be well worth it to close the game on the storm turn instead of bouncing all your opponents lands and waiting a few turns with each opponent playing land and passing because you can't hit three players for lethal in one combat step.

All I run are either cheap artifacts that tap for mana or draw cards then infinite combos Kiki Jiki/Conscripts, Niv Mizzet/Curiosity, and shit like that. You know mistviel plains might be kinda useful for this deck not sure if it is worth the entering tapped but it might be nice with all of the milling to be able to pull very specific cards back... it is a little more than .25 cents though unless you find a damaged one posted online they tend to go for like 50 cents

good thing about this deck is that you can spend 5 minutes casting spells to have a big turn but it may not be game ending like other izzet or jeskai decks so the table wont sigh as hard when they see you rock up with your 10 dollar artifact deck.
Quick question, I see a lot of people suggesting Wayfarer's Bauble. Why Wayfarer's Bauble instead of Expedition Map? They are roughly the same price. Is the idea is to get a land out of your deck, and in play, right? If you haven't played a land this turn, wouldn't Expedition Map allow you to grab Terramorphic Expanse, or Evolving Wilds, then popping it for a basic land, get two out? Is there something I am not seeing... I can run both... {wrenches hands}

with a little higher budget elsha is absolutely insane - cost reducer + senseis top = draw your deck. thought lash = pick whatever card you want from your deck as long as you have life. newjace/labman/thassas oracle are prime wincons.
Wouldn't Ugin the Ineffable also be a really strong upgrade for the deck? I understand that most of the upgrades stayed super budget (with a small exception for Semblance Anvil, and for good reason), but he's only $3-4. He does cost a lot and he's easy for opponents to interact with, but that cost reduction of two is extremely strong. Not saying that he should've gone in the Reasonable Upgrades, because the upgrades you picked were very good at pinching pennies. I'm just wondering if he'd be one of your next considerations for an upgrade after those first upgrades.

I also feel that a good upgrade would be mana severance. You can remove all of your lands in your deck so you never fail to hit what you need.

Maybe would be worth adding firebrand archer and reckless fireweaver if you have both out that's 2 damage for each non creature/artifact you cast
