Very nice work, Paul ! And I like it when you inject humor as you narrate the process. Great craftsmanship, too. Looking forward to the next project ! Thumbs up !
I know this video is so last year (lol) however, do you happen to have a file for the cardstock design (9:50-11:00)? Thanks and I am wondering if I can somehow integrate a light/torch 🤔 like other light ring boxes out there.
I really liked your presentation, to the point with a little humor throne in. Like some of the others, I would like the pattern for the part you cut out on your scan and cut machine. I have a Brother Scan & Cut so I would need it in a SVG format. If that's possible as well as okay with you. Thanks, keep up with the good work. Dave
Hi @tandogstudio2488 really like this. Would you be able to share the file for the origami cut / perforations? I'd really appreciate it (I see your response to others says about sending a DM, but I don't know how to do that here on YT). My son is getting married this summer and love the idea of making one of these for both him and his future bride's rings . Thanks
I’m so awful about responding to these comments. Turns out having a kid has an effect on engagement with the socials. Who knew? Anyway, here is a Google drive link to the silhouette studio file I used. Sorry, but I don’t have the ability to convert this to anything useful outside of that application. drive.google.com/file/d/11Yhim5pqsShNNtlxHtKg4LsznA2cd5bs/view?usp=drivesdk
Nicely done! What are the chances you could print me out one of those presenter inserts and mail it to me? I love the look of that as a ring presenter!
Great video anyway you could make those card stock files available? I was hoping to print it out and score it. Couldn't find information on how to design the card stock
@@tandogstudio2488 I wanna make one of these. Do you think it's possible to switchout the construction paper for something more long lasting? Maybe a thick fabrick or a thin strip of leather? What do you think?
@@RossCrain I think an appropriate material might be a thin, flexible plastic like the polyethylene or polypropylene they use to make those flexible plastic binders in offices or classrooms. At any rate, you want something with some rigidity to it -- I don't think fabric or leather have the physical qualities you need for it to work as an origami-type mechanism. For consideration if you do use a polymer material is something called "work hardening" or "strain hardening." Over time the flexible joint will become more brittle with repeated use. Also refer to thistothat.com to find the appropriate adhesive for your materials. Good luck and keep me posted on your results!

Your humor is awesome man. You seem like the kind of person I'd hang out with. Great video
Honestly needed the tutorial, but stuck around for the copious amounts of movie references. 🤘
We'll say we knew him when....Very good job. Loved it!
Awesome build
Old school taught, worth subscribing. Hope he has more.

Hey, did you ever find a file ?
Made me laugh with your jokes. Great looking box
@TanDogStudio would I be able to get that file for the card stock
well done
That’s a wonderful box! Great job! Is it possible to share how to do the holder?
Very nice work can you share me file
Amazing - I hope you patent the idea and then license it to different jewelry, manufactures

Would you mind sharing the mechanism drawing file?
Wanna do one for my brother for whenever he pops the question
Do you still want the drawing? I’m working in Silhouette Studio so compatibility might could be an issue.
@@tandogstudio2488 yes please!
Please, I want too🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Please, I want too... Would you mind sharing the mechanism drawing file please...
Hey TangDog, is it possible for you to share the paper cut files you used for your silhouette?
Awesome video absolutely loved it. do you have the Silhouette file as id love to make one for my friends engagement please❤
Is there any way to get the Silhouette file?

Great work, keep it up,...how deep did you go on the recess??
1/4” deep. Between that and the thickness of the liner material, I had just about 5/8” of clearance for a ring.
Hi dude,
Awesome working with all of your steps, would you share your inner pattern bruh?
Thanks
Do you still need the pattern for the insert?
@@tandogstudio2488 i'd love to grab that pattern even if i'd have to pay for it, please and thanks :)
Nicely done! What are the chances you could print me out one of those presenter inserts and mail it to me? I love the look of that as a ring presenter!
Possible, but you’d have to do the woodwork to specified dimensions, otherwise the paper insert wouldn’t work.
Great video anyway you could make those card stock files available? I was hoping to print it out and score it. Couldn't find information on how to design the card stock
Can do. The pattern took several attempts to get it just right.
Do you have the file to cut out the paper? I want to make one of these haha
I do and I can email it to you, but it’s specific to my dimensions. DM me your email address and I’ll send it over.
@@tandogstudio2488 very nicely done. Would I be able to get a copy of the pattern as well please?
@TanDogStudio Maybe you can setup a google drive folder or so for your files? I would also be very happy to get the measurements. :D
Can I get in on this file as well? I can scale it as needed if just like the basic outline and dimensions.
Me gustaría tener el archivo también.
How can I snag that cut file? I saw in an earlier comment that you could maybe email it? I'm willing to pay for the pattern as well.
What is material? Black?
That's awesome! How did you come up with that idea? What a fun process! If only I had your tools when I was in Packaging class...
Thanks! The idea isn't original but I did make some adjustments to the build and materials to suit my own needs.
Nice job, and I liked the process narration jajaja. Do you sell these? Could you also make them out of oak wood?
Wow I’m an awful content creator. I don’t sell them but reckon I could if it came to it. Oak is a very workable material for a project like this.

Доброва времени! Хорошо делоети, если можно размеры и если это что бумага? Спасибо
Oof... Too much cringe for me.
