If you are going to Huacachina next, then you definitely have to try sandboarding there! and take a crazy ride through the dunes with a buggy. Check it out: th-cam.com/video/-amZSyE2X7w/w-d-xo.html
I think the free ride on magnificent landscape is far more attractive than on tourist boat. As what you had seen in the bike shops, did they offer small size bike because I used to ride small girl bike (not Barbie😅 but smaller women size)
@@laurentjajacarpo6170 uhh I do not remember the name, but it was one in the city. There are like 3 bicycle rentals next to each other. It was on the main street :)
Bicycle for about 6-8 hours in Paracas is to me a waste of time. Are there no scooters or motorcycle? Btw, why no trees? Is it a deser but cool. 2 hours waiting for Ballesta island is also a scam. And then 8 hours road trio The following day is too Tiresome for you. Where do you get your energy?
Did you eat ceviche at Paracas ? or maybe fried fish ? that kind of harrasing for going into their restaurant is very common . Better to ignore them and choose one by ourself
I had both hahaha They had a deal that included ceviche and fried fish! was really really good. I love Peruvian ceviche !! and yes kind of getting used to the harassing by now :(
I could understand you were disappointed by the boat tour, it is called Ballestas islands tour, you complained that it was too short but as a Peruvian let me tell you that in fact the Ballestas islands tour doesn't take more than an hour, and nobody gets to put their feet on the island because it is forbidden, they are natural sanctuaries for the birds, penguins and sea lions. I don't think you were scammed, probably you got the info wrong... But I agree that there isn't much to do in Paracas, being as it is a small coastal town, doing some research on your own is recommended though. Let me insist that you have to be careful and check facts before stating that someone has scammed you
The video is about the fact that they told there is a chance we can go to the Ballestas islands, although it turns out they knew form the begging that there will be NO Ballestas island tour! They make you wait 2h, tricking and promising the island, then after 2h you are already fed up that when they say no Ballestas island tour but we can take you to the alternative tour, you of course say yes, because you already have wasted all morning. The alternative tour is a 20min shit boat ride scam that you shouldn't pay full price of what you were planning to spend on Ballestas islands. SO at the end I didn't see Ballestas islands and spent money on shit tour I would have never spent money on if they would have been honest. Let me tell you, its all of them!!! - tour agency and port people! They all in this together to get max money out of tourists! But thank you for your comment, I appreciate it! All I want is just to warn tourists to not spend money if agency and port is not taking you to the Ballestas Islands! That's it :)
@@AlikiTravelBlog This is what happens when you chose to go with informal companies, they are not registered or have licenses or anything like that. In any case its the risk one takes with traveling, its all part of the experience in the end! At least you got to enjoy the national reserve park!
