I've been watching your videos the past hour and the most impressive thing about you is how you travel solo to your destination. Most tourists move with tourist companies in a group yet you experience the country in a raw form. Very impressive. BTW, my home district is Kisoro after Kabale. You can see mountain gorillas there.
I love travelling solo and being independent and free! I always feel like guided tour groups are rushing me along! The only time I take tours is when public transport is not available, or if the cost of doing it solo would be higher (eg. National Park tours can be cheaper to go as a group, if rental cars are expensive). I would love to do the mountain gorillas someday! I didn't have the budget for it on my trip (I only had $3,000 to spend for the one month in Africa), but I do plan to return to Uganda & Rwanda to see the gorillas!
@@jp-solotravel8421 Yes sir! I am a full-time High School Teacher, so I only am able to travel in July and August (most years). So, I spent an average of 4-7 days in each country (except Zambia - I was only there to catch the train to Tanzania)
Uganda is a beautiful country full of beautiful people❤️
It truly is!
So cool a year ag oI rode exactly same roads to Kabale and lake Bunyoni, enjoyed the same view. Thats so cool. Also traveled alone
Amazing! I hope you had a great visit - Uganda is so beautiful
